Great and works as advertised. Almost flat audio, no bass boost. Good as a budget monitor. One suggestions for those buying it for use with a PC- please check out the Amazon exclusive variant of this one which has a shorter cable that is easier to manage -Audio-Technica ATH-M20x/1.6.Build quality is good. and materials appear to be durable. I am reducing one point for repairability due to fixed cable. A detachable cable would be appreciated more.Since it is closed back and has snug fitting silicone earcups, passive noise cancellation is good. This takes us to the next point:While the fit is nice, the snugness can lead to discomfort due to heat build up. You will find yourself getting warm within 10-20 minutes of use. Just somethign to be mindful of. In Kanpur's moderate weather of March, I find the need to ventilate periodically to cool off the ears and wipe the prespiration from the cups to prevent damage to them. I think this is common in all closed back, over the ear headphones, though.Audio levels: Something inexperienced users like me should be mindful of. This has a capable and precise driver and make sure not to exceed 60-70% (50 to be safe) mark if you don't know what to expect from the file. It can be very loud and can hurt your hearing.Update- wearing it after 2 months - this thing is so heavy! I mean 190 grams sounds light on paper but try telling that to your neck!

Brilliant product for mysic producers and if you want good instrument separation. Been using it for 2 years, still didn't need to replace the ear cushions once.

Audio Technica ATH Series are good for Music Producers and DJs.Noise Cancellation:Noise Cancellation is very good, It reduces most Atmosphere noise but It cannot reduce loud noises, For example If you are living in the City then you can hear the loud noise like Vehicles and Horn etc. But i am sure you will be satisfied, Just close your eyes and you will feel alone.comfortable?Yes, Its very comfortable, There is no Left&Right Side wearing rule, There are both side different comfortability.Quality:Quality is very Clear and Sharp.If you have seen any review that says the quality is not good, The Headphone is not can be cause of bad quality,It depends on music and mp3 file. If the music was produces with bad quality then it will sound bad in any headphone & If there are Lower Bit rate then 320kbps of MP3 file then it won't sounds Sharp.I recommend you to don't worry about the quality. headphones are not having stereo balance because the left side hit harder and right side hit lesser, both sides are not sounding equal, very cheap product in my life that I have buy, in front of senhizer, beardynamic, apple I pods also sounds better and I can mix hall song on them, but your professional studio headphones have a very cheap quality, I suggest all my near and dear not to buy this foolish products who fools people with their fake hype in the market, because when I wear headphones for first time I realize that it's sound is more cheaper then wired headphones, which I have. Such a nonsense product I don't satisfy with the service and product, full waste of money.I giving it 5 star because it may help people to find my review.

First of all, kudos to amazon for the excellent packaging and prompt delivery.So, I come from that group of people who never spent more than 500 bucks for a pair of headphones. I've always used the pair that came along with my phone. I also had a Sony mdr-zx110 for sometime. You can say that this is my first real pair of high quality headphones. Here are my thoughts.Packaging:The box is neatly packed with some paperwork, a connector to a DAC, and the headphones themselves. No surprises there.Build and Comfort:I was quite surprised by how light they felt at first use. The leather cups and top padding are an absolute delight and the adjusting mechanism works like a charm. It is a bit tight initially, but gets better with use. The cable is 3m long, which can be a good or a bad thing. Personally, would have liked it to be a bit shorter. Even after listening with them for 4 hours straight, there was neither any heat build up nor was it getting uncomfortable. But it made my ears sweat more than I was expecting it to. Overall, absolute delight to use even for longer periods.Sound quality:I plugged it into my Moto X and listened to some Coldplay and some Indian film music. I was expecting it to blow my mind, but realised my phone was doing justice to these pair. It sounds amazing though, better than anything I have tried. But had this feeling it had more to offer. AudioFX does offer a much better listening experience when turned on.So, I plugged it into my laptop( a HP with B&O audio) and the tables turned completely. It was unlike anything I've experienced. The sounds coming out were so natural, and so very clear. Was able to catch every note of every instrument, was finding new sounds in the tracks that I didn't know even existed. There is adequate bass and the treble is excellent. The mids are where these really shine. The vocals and instrumentals are mind-blowing. Every genre I listened to was absolutely amazing. I think these are best suited for classical, instrumental, and Jazz. I listened to some hip-hop and found the bass a bit short but nevertheless, they did sound incredible. I tried some games like COD,Battlefield and FIFA, it enhances the experience quite a lot. In FIFA, the crowd comes alive and the gunshots in COD are brilliantly reproduced.Verdict:If you are a casual listener who is looking for their first pair of high quality headphones, look no further. Absolutely loving every moment of using this pair. It introduced me to a whole new dimension in music. Every other headphone I use now just doesn't feel right. In short, its the best 3000 bucks I ever spent.

Investigue muchísimo antes de comprarlos y fueron la mejor opción, creo que la mejor palabra para definirlos es: fidedignos.Los altos se escuchan mucho más claros que en todos los audífonos que había tenido y en general el audio se siente super nítido y aisla muy bien el ruido de fuera haciendo muy inmersivo usarlos.Estaba acostumbrado a mis Skullcandy hesh 2 que son geniales por tener Bluetooth y cable desconectable además de que siendo aún más baratos realzan un poco los graves pero creo que para un estudio y para mezclar música estos son más adecuados por la claridad y el aislamiento además de que ya necesitaba unos nuevos que quiero dedicarlos solo para el estudio.Igual en mi estudio tengo un subwoofer con los monitores y me hacen percibir siempre los graves más fuerte haciendo que con estos sienta que le faltan graves pero solo es un cuestión de que esto te brinda el sonido plano, lo que es mejor para tomar desiciones de mezcla y ecualización, esto también ayuda a que no me cansen los oidos tan rápido por no decir que son muy cómodos apesar de apretar un poco para aislar el ruido de fuera. El cable es super largo lo cual yo quería para poder grabar con micrófono más distante y estar cómodo en general. Tiene su adaptador para jack grande con lo que entran directo a mi interfaz de audio o se los quito para mí controlador de DJ.Los M40x he escuchado que son tantito mejor y además les puedes quitar el cable lo que es bueno por si se te atoran y evitas tirones pero la verdad no quería pagar el doble y creo que por el precio estos son los mejores audífonos que se pueden comprar para grabar en estudio e incluso para un dj aunque si es solo para mezclar de DJ me decantaria por otro modelos y con el cable más corto.Creo que lo único que no me gusta es que sobre salga el cable de los lados donde se extienden pero ya que solo los usaré para el estudio no creo que suceda nada.Para escucha casual recomiendo más los Skullcandy hesh 2 que son ultra resistentes, tienen Bluetooth y cable que les puedes quitar, tiene un refuerzo de graves y son baratos y de batalla, yo me los llevo en la bici a todos lados y se me han caído cientos de veces, se han apachurrados, mojado jaloneado y demás y solo se me descarapelaron. Tienen como 4 años y la batería me sigue durando como 8 horas continuas.Pero si los quieres como pianista, productor o para escuchar música claramente en casa y sin gastar mucho, esto es lo mejor que te vas a encontrar.

Le cuffie si presentano in una confezione minimale seppure di qualità, che contiene oltre alle cuffie, un adattatore jack da 3,5 mm a 6,35 mm. Per quanto riguarda la qualità costruttiva non c'è nulla da ridire, sono solide anche se costituite in stragrande maggioranza in plastica. Il confort fornito dai padiglioni in similpelle è davvero buono, ed è accompagnato dal confort fornito dall'imbottitura dell'archetto superiore; tutto questo favorisce un ascolto prolungato senza alcun problema. A livello sonoro sono ottime, queste cuffie Monitor sono perfette sia per l'editing audio tanto quanto per l'ascolto della musica; anche se non ci si deve aspettare Bassi troppo esaltati così come per le altre frequenze, ma tutto ciò non deve stupire dato che queste cuffie devo rendere un suono che deve risultare il più possibile vicino alla reale traccia audio. Tirando le somme, posso dire che il prodotto è più che valido per la fascia di prezzo in cui si propone.

Its too tight feels uncomfortable after a short while of using as in, I feel warm and uncomfortable and my ears ache due to the gripping pressure of the headphone. Sound wise, its ok for my video and sound edit work… so far… but very uncomfortable to use longer than 10 minutes!! :((
