My daughter has wanted one of these for her Stanley for a while. It’s a bit tricky to get the ice out so you do need to run it under warm water for a few seconds, but otherwise it’s great!

If you are into cool and funky ice cubes this is very cool item. I know it is not a cube as such but the shapes are great.

I have a Stanley lookalike mug that I use on holidays and over the summer and I would normally use standard ice cubes (lots of them).So when I saw these 'hollow' cube moulds I figured they were worth a shot at saving me from complaints of no ice cubes left....I just fill up the mould but the lid on to avoid spillage and put it in the freezer overnight- it's always ready to go in the morning.There is definitely a knack to getting the cubes out - this is what I doMake my drink up with the mould on the side to allow it to warm up a little.After a minute press down the middle of each tube to release it from the iceThen press on the side of the mould pushing each tube of ice outBuild the stack in the mugFill with drinkDrink drinkThe tubes do indeed chill you drink quicker than normal ices cubes and keep it cold - the science is all to do with surface areaI use this all the time and think it's great and not all that expensive, the mould is well made of thick silicon so I feel it will last the test of time.

I love these ice cubes, they stay frozen inside my Stanley cup much much longer than normal ice cubes do and they don’t get in the way of your straw.My one negative is that the actual tray is silicone making it very flimsy, so when you fill it with water you have to be very careful when putting it in the freezer. I have spilled water many times in the process

my partner has trouble getting the ice out due to her acrylic nails, but the ice lasted well over 10 hours and kept her drink cool even in the hot weather we've been having (and it being even hotter in our poorly ventilated apartment)

Since my daughter's boyfriend bought her one of those ridiculously huge, top heavy, Stanley cups last Christmas, there has been a definite lack of ice cubes available in our freezer.Because they hold the best part of 2 pints, they need almost a full tray of Ice cubes to enable them to keep a drink cold for a full working day.My daughter has been using this silicone ice mould for a few days, and now whenever I go to the freezer for some Ice for my drink, there is a full tray available. I should have bought one of these months ago!Happy to recommend.

An interesting way to chill your drink. It is best to place the ice cubes before filling with liquid as the ice will melt faster after contact to liquid. If you chill your tumbler cup in the fridge it will last longer as well. I found it was simple to fill with water and place in the freezer, you do need a spare shelf or somewhere level to place the mould. The lid helps stop the water splashing out as you place it but it shouldn’t be filled right to the top. I found it was difficult to remove the ice cubes from the mould and ended up pushing down the middle and pushing/pulling it out that way. It took a lot of time and much easier to use normal ice cube. Probably won’t use it again.
