As a cancer patient I have become intolerantji0 to cold beverages. This kettle has been a life saver! Easy to carry around, plug in, and get the warmer water I can tolerate!

Say YES to this product! Great quality! Used it while on a trip to Ghana, Africa and had zero issues. Easy to set up and use, and heats water quickly. I used it to heat water for coffee, tea, oatmeal, and dehydrated meals. I won’t travel to Africa without it!

Had a problem with first one but customer service sent a replacement, and they were extremely helpful and courteous. I went ahead and tried second one because of their service. It was obvious they really care about their products and also care about making things right. They responded quickly and kept the communication lines going. Excellent service and kettle is working great. Heats up pretty fast. One thing to note is that once you start it, it will begin to heat up and goes through the various colors/temps until you stop it at the temp you desire. If it goes to highest temp it will automatically shut off. I really like the color indicators as well.

Heats fast. I love the different temperature options. The 175* option is perfect for tea. It is very compact and perfect to store in my desk at work. I only took off a star because the cord is extremely short. I have to heat it on the floor because it won't reach from the plug to the counter.

Traveled to 2 Eastern European countries on a tour. Wanted to have coffee/tea while getting ready early in the AM. Wasn't sure if hotels provided beverage set up in the rooms. This item fit my need perfectly. Heated (hot!) water for tea or coffee within minutes. Slim profile is good for packing, packs no larger than a metal water bottle. The electrical cord fits inside. Has a pouch. Has 3 prongs so make sure your electrical adapter for travel allows for the prongs. I brought along a collapsable cup to drink from but the hotels had coffee cups to use. Their electric teapots often had corrosion built up so I was glad I had this device for hot water instead.

Update 2. After cleaning it thoroughly, it still leave some metallic sheen each time and it increases with each time. Definitely returning as it's questionable material. Update 1 after 3 days of use. Changed rating from 3 to 1. Just after three days a weird stain has started to form in the so called stainless steel kettle. It's as bad as those silicon ones. --- Pros Easy to carry cable as it fits in the kettle. Cleaner than plastic options. Works in different countries. Doesn't take long to boil water. Cons Very short cable. Low capacity (the description says it yes, so purchased knowing that, but when using it, you truly feel the difference between this and a 450 or 500 ml). Zero instructions about how to set temp.

The detail states that this cup is good for international travel accepting 110-240V, however the box specifically states 110-220V. Buyer beware. I don't know if it will work with 240V in London, however I am not willing to try only to have it fry on the first use. UPDATED: I have updated the rating to 3 stars from the original 1 due to the interaction with the seller. They were very responsive and stated that the box needs to be updated and that it will work with 240v. They also sent me another cup to try even after issuing a refund. I can not verify if it does work at 240v. The instructions state to follow the information provided on the nameplate, however the plate is missing. The kettle cup is nice, stays cool on the outside. The water didn’t come to a full boil, but hit 209 F with a calibrated thermometer. I am sure it will be fine here in the US.
