Both diffusers are highly resistant to yellowing with age thanks to the high quality UV coating, and they can be wiped clean if needed. The opening mechanism includes a deflector plate, that restricts the light in the centre of the soft box to avoid ‘hot spots’ and directs it towards the soft box walls creating even and consistent light - EGG CRATE HONEYCOMB INCLUDED: The honeycomb grid is extremely useful for controlling both light spill and for preventing lens flare, especially when used for backlighting, or rim lighting. The honeycomb grids (included) will help direct your light further, giving you even more creative freedom - D RING FITTING: Our ProFold Strip Softbox has a D Ring fitted to each corner, allowing you to tie the strip softbox down safely when using outdoors, preventing damage or injury caused by wind as well as making sure your softbox stays in the position you need - IDEAL SOFTBOX FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS: This strip softbox is ideal for product and portrait photography. It can be used for full length portraits and also widely used to light backgrounds where the length helps to avoid fall-off from top to bottom as well as rim lighting and consistent product photography. The Lencarta ProFold folding 140cm strip softbox is considered to be the ideal tool for creating soft light - STRONG BUILD QUALITY: As well as using a thick material build quality, our strip softboxes have been made with a wide strip of Velcro type material that allows the diffusers and egg crate honeycomb to be fitted tightly and securely. This also allows the diffusers to be set back slightly within the Softbox which makes the light much more directional to avoid light spill ## Images ![Photography Strip Softbox 27 x 140cm Umbrella Folding Mechanism Portrait Photography & Product Photography Including Free Inner and Outer Diffuser and Egg Crate Honeycomb Grid - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81+HwhmEOGL.jpg) ![Photography Strip Softbox 27 x 140cm Umbrella Folding Mechanism Portrait Photography & Product Photography Including Free Inner and Outer Diffuser and Egg Crate Honeycomb Grid - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61vdJK9ahgL.jpg) ![Photography Strip Softbox 27 x 140cm Umbrella Folding Mechanism Portrait Photography & Product Photography Including Free Inner and Outer Diffuser and Egg Crate Honeycomb Grid - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81j22Ttjf9L.jpg) ![Photography Strip Softbox 27 x 140cm Umbrella Folding Mechanism Portrait Photography & Product Photography Including Free Inner and Outer Diffuser and Egg Crate Honeycomb Grid - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81QSZgmZ05L.jpg) ![Photography Strip Softbox 27 x 140cm Umbrella Folding Mechanism Portrait Photography & Product Photography Including Free Inner and Outer Diffuser and Egg Crate Honeycomb Grid - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81uz9O9kqIL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by P***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 June 2018* I was very pleased with the short delivery time to Denmark. Didn't make any review earlier because I wanted to try the strip box on photoshoot(s) first. Have done that and I'm very pleased. I went for the "small" 140cm strip soft box because I needed something not too large, also portable - and easy to unfold/ collapse on locations. The Lencarta does that very well. I was also pleased with the light, and tried to use the strip boxes (have 2) both horizontal and vertical, as I had a MC and also a standing person shoot. I also like the small detail that there are rings mounted in each corner of the strip box to secure the strip box when outside on locations. All in all, money for value/ quality - I'm very pleased. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/64694247-photography-strip-softbox-27-x-140cm-umbrella-folding-mechanism-portrait](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/64694247-photography-strip-softbox-27-x-140cm-umbrella-folding-mechanism-portrait) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
