Big pig on a dig (Phonics Readers)

This book series is nice with interesting pictures and two to three liners on each page. This creates interest in reading, my kids started loving books.

The illustrations are fantastic. Unfortunately, the words in the text are very difficult for a beginning reader. The writer has chosen complicated text features. The text should be simplified and follow an Orton-Gillingham Approach Sequence.

Un libro davvero carino, la storia attira molto e le rime sono facili da ricordare. I migliori secondo me sono questo, Fat cat on a mat e Shark in the park della stessa collana.

I bought this as I teach English to Japanese children, and this is their favourite book!There is one page where the rhyme doesn't really work, where suddenly the pig has a wig, and hops on a stick, but otherwise the story is cute and fun.I really enjoy this series and am slowly collecting them!

My 4yr old loved it! The entire series of these books are great for helping little ones to read in a fun and engaging manner.
