This flex duct is great. Using it for a grow tent and attached to a 6" ventilation fan and carbon filter. Comes with the proper band clamps and coated black on the outside. The inside layer is mylar and has a wire coil running the length for strength and support. Good value for this price point and will continue to use this duct for the foreseeable future. Fits tight but wasn't so bad I couldn't get it attached to the fan or filter. The flex really gives me so many mounting options like mounting the filter outside of the tent or hanging from the roof. Highly recommend for it's value, quality and utility. Did not need to buy anything separate for this flex to work in my system.
