I didn't get this for my six dogs, I got it to use as a small portable rechargeable rotary tool. It can use all the bits and heads my other rotary tool uses but doesn't need to be plugged in to use it.I would recommend it

I like that it not heavy so I can trim Lady’s nails and she not afraid of it, it’s not very loud. Easy to use.

This item, worked great fir trimming my pitbulls nails. He wasn't scared of the sound. A Lil loud, but he was fine.

So, we decided to give this nail grinder a shot, and we're so glad we did!Right out of the box, we were impressed with the variety of accessories included. While it doesn't have a specific nail guard, the multiple grinding bands and sanding drums give us plenty of options to find the right fit for our dog's nails. The motor is surprisingly powerful, with multiple speed settings that allow us to start slow and gradually increase the speed as our dog gets more comfortable.Speaking of comfort, our dog was a bit hesitant at first, but he took to the grinder much better than he ever did with clippers. We're confident that with continued use, he'll be a pro in no time. We've only used it a few times so far, but we've already noticed a significant difference in his nails.One minor quirk we found was that the packaging and instructions don't specifically mention using the grinder on pets. However, after some research and watching online tutorials, we learned that a standard rotary tool like this one is essentially the same thing as a dedicated pet nail grinder. So, that initial concern was quickly resolved.Overall, we're extremely happy with this nail grinder. It's a fantastic alternative to clippers for dogs who are resistant to traditional nail trims. The powerful motor, variety of accessories, and multiple speed settings make it a versatile tool that can be customized to your dog's needs. While the lack of a nail guard and pet-specific instructions are minor drawbacks, they're easily overcome with a bit of research and practice. I have dogs who absolutely hate having their nails trimmed and among other strategies I've had to implement, nail grinders absolutely were a must. I've tried a few different ones with varying levels of success- I've had some that couldn't stand up to even one nail trim, others that simply didn't get the job done. I need the nail trim to move quickly and some were very slow. I had found a decent grinder, but I saw this one and something told me to grab it- I'm SO freaking glad I did!This is definitely the best nail grinder I've ever tried. First, the lights make it easy to see what you're doing- I love the lights. No more holding my phone flashlight up trying to see where we're at and what still needs to be done- the lights are right in the grinder and they are all around, so I can see no matter where I'm at or how I'm holding it. I was also really impressed (and a bit overwhelmed!) with how many different types of bands and wheels were included. I will definitely need to learn a bit more in order to utilize them all correctly, but I really love that I have so many options available to me depending on what my dogs need.Loading the attachments in did take me a moment to figure out, but once I got it it was a cakewalk. I love that the grinder has 5 speeds- this allows me to move really quickly through the trim, but then slow down when I'm making sure that the tip of the nail is rounded and softer to the touch. It's also a quite quiet nail grinder compared to lots of the others I've tried.I really appreciated that everything came in a zipper case rather than a flimsy soft pouch. The attachments were in a nice plastic box and the paperwork and charging cord fit into the case as well- everything is in one place and I love that!This nail grinder allowed me to make our dogs' last nail trim super quick and efficient. They both hate this part of being groomed- they literally sit with each other for moral support and if they sense for even a second that they might be able to fight themselves away they'll try, so the fact that I was able to trim them even quicker is a total win. Beyond that, their nails came out smoother to the touch than they ever have with any other grinder- I'm genuinely shook!Seriously the best nail grinder I've ever used on my dogs. I am SO happy with it.
