Good little iron for the Money
I gave had good luck with this soldering iron. I have used it for my stained glass work probably 20 hours and appreciate the variety of tips. I’ve worn one tip pretty much out but it is the one i use the most. Heats up QUICK! Can’t speak much on the accessories as i haven’t used them but overall, i feel like i’m getting my money’s worth vs. the more expensive Weller that didn’t hold up over time.

worth the bucks...
love the fast heat up speed and the adjustable heat.

Surprisingly good soldering iron for this class. Perhaps not quite 100W.
This little soldering iron kit delivers pretty good value for casual DIY and household repair uses. It's probably not ideal for a professional, but we knew that, no?Temperature regulation is OK. The little display shows the temp very quickly ramping up or down to the set point, but the actual tip temperature measured with a thermocouple probe lags significantly behind. That said, it does heat reasonably quickly, and holds pretty close to the set point. I observed it running fairly consistently about 5% hot, at the base of the tip, so the actual working tip temp is probably very close under thermal load.It doesn't perform like a 100W iron, and checking the current draw tends to confirm this suspicion. The heater seems to have a pretty good PTC curve, drawing ~440mA RMS when cool and closer to 250 when fully hot. This would put it in the 50-60W class, and it'd be a respectable entrant in that group.Regulation is by duty-cycle control at line frequency, with current pulses as short as a half-cycle observed. The kit also includes several tips, from a nice needle-point to a comically broad chisel, some paste flux that's not bad, some thin solder and some solder wick that's inadequately fluxed but performs acceptably in conjunction with the included flux.I've tested several of these entry-level soldering iron kits, and this is the first that I can fairly confidently recommend, for amateur or DIY use.

Solder? I hardly know her!
I’m the world’s worst solderer…apparently that’s not a word. Doesn’t change the fact that I’m bad at soldering. I’ve been doing it for 40 years now because I’m a nerd who likes to take electronics apart and “fix” them and I’ve never been any good at it. I have always wondered if it was because of the soldering iron I was using or the solder or the flux or anything else. Well apparently it isn’t the equipment, it’s me because even with this excellent soldering iron and accessories, my soldering looks like something a toddler would be ashamed of. Oh well. The soldering iron is very nice. I’ve always bought the cheapest thing on the rack at Radio Shack so I’ve never had the ability to set the temperature which is nice. It heats up quickly and it helps to have the readout there to confirm it is hot and ready to go. Of course the electrical cord isn’t long enough (they never are) so I have to use an extension cord but the little rest with built in cleaning sponge is nice and handy for laying it down when you’ve inhaled too much vaporized solder and flux and feel faint. It comes with a variety of tips that also didn’t improve my abilities but are nice to have. It came with flux, a large spool of solder wire and a pair of needle nosed tweezers that are so sharp they make me nervous. If you are a casual solderer then this little kit will get you going and keep you going for most anything you will ever need to do, but it won’t help your technique.

Compact and Works Well
This soldering iron kit comes with the basic accessories and materials required for a beginner to perform the soldering work. Other than the soldering iron, there are total 6 different soldering tips, 1 roll of solder wire, 1 solder wick, 1 soldering paste, 1 tweezers and a stand with sponge. Moreover, a streamlined user manual has been provided. The soldering iron has100W power and adopts ceramic core heating element that can quickly heat up to the set temperature within a minute. This soldering iron has a penlike design. It has heat-proof and non-slip rubber sleeve at the holding part to enhance safety and comfort grip. It is also compact and lightweight. It’s portable and suitable for DIY projects such as repairing of appliances and welding circuit board etc. Moreover, there is a LED digital display on the soldering iron’s handle. It not solely displays the temperature but also assists in the process of settings such as switching units of temperature, changing the welding temperature and setting password. I’m surprised it can set a password for child lock purpose. The exchangeable soldering tip allows using suitable tip on various materials and soldering needs. Although the stand is a bit simple and small, this soldering iron kit works well on most small DIY projects. It’s really suitable for beginner. Even it is seldom to perform soldering works, it’s still good to acquire it as a standby tool at home with an affordable low cost.

Actually impressed by this soldering iron
Item Reviewed: Soldering Iron Kit, 100W Soldering Gun with LED Digital DisplayPros:Reaches temperature quicklyHolds temperature wellEasy to swap tipsPretty easy to programCons:Stand is barely sufficientI'm actually impressed by this. It's a $16USD (at the time of this review) soldering iron that performed better than I expected. I liked the digital display tracking the temperature so I knew when it was ready to use. Additionally, the ability to adjust the operating temperature up or down is a nice feature to have, especially when dealing with some stubborn soldering joints. It's comfortable to use, at least for the short duration I needed it. I used to do soldering in HS (late 90's) and I've been missing the activity. That, and I needed a soldering iron to fix a part in my truck (which I haven't gotten to yet), so having this helps out. I did a little tooling around with an old project and this soldering iron performed well, especially being able to switch tips for different needs. For the price and the accessories as part of this kit, you can't go wrong having this soldering iron for small projects and the occasional need. I wouldn't recommend it for professional use, but maintained well it could probably hold up decently well.
