My cat is on a variety of powders and drops but when I ran out of this supplement he did seem to go downhill a bit in the time that he didn't have it. His appetite was not as good and he didn't seem as active when he wasn't taking it. It is pricey, but I have started to give my 7.5 pound cat half of the contents of a capsule in the morning and half in the evening and that seems to be a good dose for him, even if it is half the recommended amount.
