We all know about Apple charging cables having a tendency to crack open near one end. The armor on this cable is supposed to be the most serious possible attempt at preventing that. (Also the cable being made from a different plastic than Apple uses can always help.) The armor pieces are cool-looking, too.I would say anyone in the market for another Apple Lightning charging cable because their last one has cracked from use should consider the little bit of extra money for this cable.

My wife insists on using her devices while charging and we have gone through every type of lightning cable imaginable. Although we have had this just a short time the strain relief limits the radius of the cable movement spreading the pressure over a greater area. I am optimistic that this one will last significantly longer. I would like to see a two or three meter version.

I liked the fact that the cord end bends on moving the cord around I can’t really tell how the cord is other than it seems to be OK I won’t know until I’ve had it for a longer period of time it’s seems durable and my Apple Phone Recognized the cord it was OK to use it !

This cable is fairly short, and thus really overpriced. It also appears as though the company may be out of business. The Anker Powerline + is better option for a rugged cable. I returned this cable for a refund.

This is the Best charging cord I’ve ever purchased for my iPad!!! It’s durable, charges fast, and you never worry about fraying because it’s all flexible plastic.

So much more durable than basic charging cords. I bought 2 but haven’t needed to break out the second one yet.

Having a cord that bends at the connection points is so user friendly. I’ve had it for awhile now and it shows no sign of wear and tear. Charges my phone (iPhone) quickly.

Strong and as advertised. However, would prefer a longer cord.
