I purchased this for my wife's new car. I have had several dash cams in the past and wanted to get one that you could actually determine what the license plate numbers of the cars around you are. The front camera is awesome and the wi-fi (not bluetooth) hookup provides a clear picture of everything. I especially appreciate the small profile of the camera and the mount that stays attached to the windshield. Just slide on and slide off. They provide a nice tucking tool and plenty of cable to reach your dash 12v outlet. If you wish to plug into the console 12v outlet you will probably have to splice in about two feet of wire. My wife's car is a small SUV and by the time I concealed the wire in the headliner, down the window column, under the dash and to the console there was just not enough wire. It is easy to splice in a new piece however and I could not be more pleased with how it looks in the car. Easily as good as most OEM dash cams. the quality of the rear camera is not is good but I would not expect it to be since it is clearly a 1080P vs 4K on the front. I love the fact that it records and displays your speed and exact location on the recorded video and that you can view this info on your camera as well as both front and rear video displays thru the provided GKU software. I wish I would have had this setup when my wife and I drove thru an Indian reservation in New Mexico and got a ticket. I am sure that I was not speeding but since we had out of state plates we were the ones who got pulled over. I have not used it but the software allows you to put your phone in your phone holder and the wi-fi connection will send the video to your camera. I am currently converting my F150 to an overlanding vehicle to travel into some remote areas in the western states and hope to get this dash cam or their next one up in quality to put into the truck to record my adventures. Buy this and you will not be disappointed. PS: I don't drive much at night but the night time videos it have recorded have been very good. When I have recorded video in my dark garage at night just the moonlight coming in the one window and the misc. battery charger lights, orange led on the freezer telling you it is working etc. give the camera enough light so you can discern what everything is in the garage.

This is a great camera system. The front and back cameras give very good resolution videos. Super easy to install (20 minutes in a large SUV). Comes with everything needed to install and get the wires tucked in nicely so it all looks professional. Also has GPS and connects to app via WiFi. Solid all the way around. I have owned 3 of their older models and have never had a minutes trouble with them. All 4 cars have these front and back cameras. App works well too. Easy to pull up videos when needed. I got the state of Ohio to repay me for a blown tire because I had proof of pothole on highway that caused the blowout. These cameras are great for new drivers too as you can monitor their driving and be able to have proof of what happened in case of an accident.

I brought the camera and had an issue setting up with wifi connectivity on my iPhone . I reached out to customer service via WhatsApp and the agent was so helpful and interactive even with the time zone difference they would respond to my concerns and needs and did everything they would to help assist me and when I wasn’t able to get it up they send a replacement product that worked wonderful with no issues. The install was very easy and I did it myself as using the tuck tool, clips and very clear instructions manual provided and so far the adhesive has been able to withstand the Jamaican heat. Set up on the app was just as easy . Video quality is in 4K for both front and back camera and easy to view on the app . Camera came with SD card and everything needed. Just plug in install on app and go. Check cable length before buying as my husband tried in his car and it was a little short and so wired would not be fully tucked away however we tried in my car and was just a little long so it depends on vehicle. Would highly recommend this product Great camera with a good price point and great interactive customer service . Genuinely have nothing bad to say. Highly recommend

Great packaging. Very helpful manual book. The video quality is amazing!! Looks better than the more pricey dashcams and I have an eye for detail as I am into photography. The app and connect works good for me. Works even better when actually in the car near the dashcam and also I have a great phone (S23 ultra). Installing was a breeze in my 2019 Dodge Challenger (Thanks to youtubers). I didn't bother to connect the rear camera just yet. Everything still works fine. Did I mention the video quality is amazing? Great price! I live in phoenix arizona so I will see how it holds up to the heat. Will update if anything.

Only reason it gets one star is it's a nice compact camera. Other than that it sucks! I would not recommend this camera just because I couldn't even get it installed and loaded on my phone/app. Impossible to connect to the app. Wi-fi would not connect in my garage. Had to go out in the street and even then the GKU wifi was spotty and would not connect the camera to the app/phone. Got pissed off and packed it up. Returned! The camera when first turned on was annoying! "start recording" - 2 seconds later "stop recording" 2 seconds later - "start recording" -- No volume control, no way to stop it. Then the screen goes to GKU with no image, no sound, no way to change it. Can't get into the app because it won't connect to my phone and the app. Just a nightmare! Cable was just barely long enough to get the rear camera from the front to the back of my CR-V. Would not work for a larger vehicle. Instruction Manual SUCKS! Very little information. Not easy to read. VERY SMALL booklet with small print. I guess they think everyone is going to look things up on the internet. Took me 2 hours to determine that this was not going to work for me.

This camera was pretty easy to install - you do have to pay close attention to the manual and the video, but if you do, everything works without issue. It has a clear, crisp picture, and I love that it includes a rear-facing camera. When I first mounted the front-facing camera, I had to reposition the camera, and the adhesive did not work. I reached out to the customer service team, and they responded right away and helped me with a solution in a timely and friendly manner. Overall, I am very pleased with the service and the quality of the purchase. I highly recommend it!

First off, this is my first ever dash cam. I don't have any other experience with these devices so I have nothing to compare this too. The first thing I will note is I'm pretty disappointed with how small the display is on the camera. I of course knew it was going to be small, but this is just much smaller than I anticipated. Another thing to note is that the display won't stay on for me. I love to have it on to see it working live and see how it looks from time to time, but mostly it stays off. Not sure what's up with that. The quality of the cameras however are actually pretty good. I really enjoy the resolution on them while viewing it live in the app. Speaking of the app, its nothing special but I'm glad it has features like messing around with the volume of the dash cam (it loves to speak to you while it boots up, starts recording, etc). The wifi connectivity on the camera is completely useless from what I've experienced and won't connect to the internet. So overall, functionality is pretty meh. I got it on sale and will continue to use it, but for my next vehicle I will not be purchasing this again
