My research pointed me in the direction of LG so it then came down to model. Although for home office use, I chose this “gaming” model based on performance spec as both refresh rate and response times are impressive. Very happy with my choice and my sone who does game is also impressed as it significantly outperforms him monitor for which he paid significantly more. Also should add that it was easy to set up out of the box and I actually like the chunky stand as it is robust and allows you to adjust the monitor to your exact height requirement with confidence.

Upgrade from my original 75hz monitor, works perfectly! Came with an HDMI cable and a DP cable. The stand is very nice, easy to use and good adjusting ability. I got it whilst on sale for around £110 which I think is a great price for what I am getting. Brightness wise, great! Super bright and easy to adjust too. All around good monitor for gaming, nice and smooth.

Great picture and response time, needs to be said in the description that it doesn't come with built in speakers though. So you'll have to use headphones or buy an external speaker.

This was to replace my main monitor, mainly for business work. So far impressed, pics are minimum brightness as I don't like bright monitors but you can see how great it looksSetup is simple, yes it only has 1 hdmi and 1 dp.. if you need more than this, select a different monitor. Fits to standard stand adapters, so not used the included stand but it did look well made when opening the boxWon't be using the audio, but it detected it no issue over hdmi for those wondering on windows, and if you are not sure what this means when you plug it in.. it will change your master audio, so be prepared for that :)My one niggle, and I believe it's related to another feature I won't use, is the power supply. It's not a C13 .. or kettle lead as they are known, but a typical round adapter. I couldn't find if it was different easily in the description so I'm adding it for anyone wondering. I assume it's something to do with the rotation capabilityAll ports are on the rear centre of the monitor, again those cable junkies like me, who are used to cables at the bottom facing upwards be aware, you nest have another 20cm flex on them :)Been running for an hour now, perfect visuals, and was refreshing that fast my camera took a few blurred shots instead of solid pics!Will be running a few games too, but I doubt I will be returning to amend, build, spec, size all look great and with a minimal border and matt screen... fits my needs perfectly

Used this item for not less than 6 months and screen went blur. I don’t know how this happened and I tried requesting for repair from LG website and they said it will cost me £229 to repair it. For something that I bought for £109?

This monitor has everything you could wish for, the build quality is frankly stunning considering the price range.Tilt and height can be adjusted for the perfect viewing experience.LG has provided you with a menu fit to fully customise your gaming experience.Very happy.

This was the first ever monitor of my own, and was very easy to set up too! at the begining I did struggle a bit finding the right instruction manual as the package contained about 5 different manuals for different things about the monitor. The screen is SUPER bright, I recomend having the brightness on 30 due to this, but not a hassle at all as its easy to change. I was able to get this monitor during the christmas/boxing day sales for about £110, not bad at all for the specs you get with it!I have NO complaints with this monitor at all!
