Bought it for my daughter. She wanted a new diary. Came with the cutest heart lock and two keys, in case one gets lost. Books feels super sturdy and has a luxurious feel to it. Highly recommend.

perfect journal
I absolutely love this journal, it helps keep me motivated to actually journal since it's so beautiful! I love that it locks so I don't have to worry about someone reading it if I accidentally leave it somewhere! the faux leather and gold foiling with matching hardware make it feel so divine

Beautiful Diary for young girls.
It’s a beautiful diary. I purchased it for my Granddaughters 10 birthday. Good quality. Love the lock and key feature. Makes a perfect gift for young girls. Comes in a beautiful box. However, it didn’t come packaged well. Need to request it comes shipped in an Amazon box or waterproof envelope. As the cellophane cover was dirty during shipping.

I didn't get to see it personally. My 8yr old granddaughter wanted a diary with lock I saw this and liked it and when she got it she loved it

lock doesnt work
this is pretty came as pictured. If your looking for something that comes with a lock that works this is not it but you could always buy a new lock the lock is openable with your fingers but i do recommend very pretty good quality

Lock is not functional
It's. A really pretty diary and gold edging on pages is a lovely effect, but, the lock function doesn't work. There was nowhere for the lock to attach unlike shown in the picture. I would have returned the item but it was a gift and was only made aware of this after gifting it and the recipient chose not to have it returned. Was quite disappointed about the lock because this was the main selling point that was requested as gift for a preteen girl.
