This scalloped copper foil has a great adhesive that sticks to the glass as expected. It is easy to burnish and accepts my flux and solder perfectly! The solder spreads thinly and evenly over the surface and adds a great detail to my stained glass products! I love the fact that it’s black backed so when using transparent glass and patina, everything looks so professionally and complete. I highly recommend that you try this in your projects and see what you think!

I will be starting a new stained glass project soon to try it. If it doesn't hold up well I'll update my review.At my first comparison though, the foil width is good compared to my name brand, but the foil thickness it seems paper thin compared to the sturdiness of the brand I already use. I think this is going to be more difficult to manipulate but I won't know for a while and will update then.

This tightly wound, generous roll of scalloped copper tape is beautifully and precisely cut in matching scallops across from each other, making it easy to wrap around glass and match the front to back pattern. It is ideal for wrapping the edges of stained or painted glass panels, but it would also be useful for other crating projects, such as making cards (cut strips of various lengths and glue to the cardstock in random or cross cross patterns—would be dramatic against a black or dark cardstock underneath). It could be wrapped around a gift box as a “ribbon,” highlighted with a bow of metallic actual ribbon. I cut some even lengths in strips when I first opened it, and wove them in a loose basket weave pattern and was pleased with the result, and will use jewelry glue to secure the edges, and then add pretty beads and metallic thread, and frame it as a small gift for a friend. This is a very versatile, well made roll of copper tape, and adapts itself to many different purposes.
