I bought this brush mainly for myself but ended up using it on my kids as well because it is that gentle. The mix of boar and nylon bristles makes it perfect for detangling without any tugging or complaints. My kids usually squirm during hair brushing but with this one they sit still and even say it feels nice.On my own hair it helps smooth everything down and gives a bit of shine, especially after a shower or when my hair is dry and frizzy. The bristles feel like they massage your scalp which makes it feel more like self care than just brushing.It has a good grip and feels well made. No loose bristles or cheap construction. I use it every day now and have noticed less breakage and static. Great all-around brush for the whole family.

I originally bought the beauty by earth brush and i had high expectations because one of my favorite influencers swears by it but when i got it i was so disappointed. The brush had glue residue all over and so many bristles fell out when i ran my hands through it. I was so disappointed i immediately requested a return. I spent 15 dollars on the beauty by earth brush and the bestool brush was only 10. I bought the bestool brush the day after i got the beauty by earth and i immediately compared the two. The bestool brush is so much fuller than the other and it has no residue of any kind,no smell,and it has so many nylon bristles to grip my thick hair!The bestool brush also comes with a dust bag, a comb, and a brush cleaner while the Beauty by earth one doesnt come with anything. Overall its totally worth it to get the bestool brush because its much better quality and it comes with more things for a cheaper price unlike the other brush. I highly recommend this brush, it made my hair so soft and i have long thick wavy/straight hair and it did wonders its so much better than wet brush or any other brush ive used and trust me ive tried many.Disclaimer: In the picture i had already removed the glue residue and falling boar bristles on the beauty by earth brush

I’m so glad I found this brush! My hair is curly and yet this brush goes through my hair with ease and makes my hair so much softer. Using this brush helps prevent tangles from forming in my hair. All that is to say is that this brush is very high quality and works very well. If you want your hair to be softer or to detangle your hair without causing pain then this brush is certainly worth the money.I will say, though, that after several uses it does get a bit hard to clean. It gets greasy and there is gunk that builds up. As long as you keep up with cleaning it it should be fine.

I am back on Amazon purchasing this brush for the 4th time, this time to give as a gift. I love this hair brush and at 71-years old I have purchased several brushes in my lifetime. I generally go for the higher end, good quality brushes but thought I would try out this value brush and so happy that I did. It has worked great on my long, thick hair and equally as well when I had my hair all chopped off and now very short. The reason I like this brush over the 100% Boar Bristle ones that I own, like the flat Mason Pearson, Ibiza round brush etc. is this this brush is a combo of Boar and plastic bristles which I find works best with wet hair. Additionally, my hair dries faster, makes my hair shiner, gentle on my scalp, great massager, much easier to clean etc. I have used this brush every day for 3-years and it still looks like new. I do clean it after each use, spending less than 1-minute utilizing the cleaning tool that came with the brush. I don't put a wet brush in the drawer, instead I leave it out to dry and face up. I never store my brushes face down either. Oh and the brush can withstand the heat from an intense hot hair dryer. I also like the contoured wooden handle. Last of all, my first two purchases of this brush were for me, one in bathroom & the other in my purse. The one in my purse I store inside the durable pull string cotton bag that comes with the brush. Anyhow, the third brush I use for grooming my long-hair furry friend "Rusty" my darling dog. Again this brush is great for Rusty because it works well on his wet hair (after bathing), is gentle on his scalp / skin, and leaves his hair looking shiny and healthy! Like I mentioned earlier, my forth purchase of this brush is to give as a gift for my son, who inherited my thick hair. Great brush! I have fine hair prone to breakage and learned boar bristle brushes would be best. Such a difference! Firm to get out tangles but gentle enough to not cause any breakage! I got this brush and one with nylon bristles from another company as well. The nylon makes it more softer through hair. I think having both is a must!
