Lids fit on the designated cans well. To date, neither of them have blown off the can. Nothing has escaped from the can with the lid on it. All in all, this was a solid purchase.

These are great replacement lids for the 32-gallon Rubbermaid trash cans. The originals were good but seemed to get brittle over the years. These replacements appear to be made of a tougher material. They are flat, not domed like the originals, so it is possible to put extra trash on top of the closed-up trash can. They have notches molded into the edge of the lid, so water can find an easy way off of the lid during rain. Old geezers like me can also use the notches to rest a cane on the lid and it won't roll off. I was surprised at first to see that the lids come in pairs, then I remembered that I had two cans that needed them. Otherwise, you could sell the extra lid to a neighbor. Given the size of the lids, it makes sense, shipping wise, to sell them in pairs. That is more efficient. I think these are great. --Old Guy

I make orchid and plant mixes and need to store outside. Live in San Francisco and there is a lot of moisture to leave the mixes in bags. Brought two 30 gallon Rubber Maid containers and realized I needed the tops to seal the containers from the weather. These containers are a long term investment. They will weather the heat, cold and rain. These mixes are expensive to make and totally satisfied with the tops.

I couldn't find these anywhere locally but thankfully Amazon had them and for only $12 bucks. Well made, fits my rubbermaid Brute bin perfectly and stays on. Highly recommend ... would buy it again.
