A good looking hob that heats food fast.Easy to fit.

Wanted a plug in hob. Quite happy with this, it's OK for just 2 of us But, there is only so much wattage so you can only have 2 rings on full at a time or the heat splits between the rings. Make sure you can manage with this first. Boils really fast and cools as soon as heat turned down. Took a bit of getting used to. The child lock is a good safety feature.

Nice, stylish hob but noisy.. this hob balances the power so you cant run 2 on full power which can be a hindrance when cooking larger meal. Quiet till more than on hob in use these a whizzing noise ramps up. Easy to clean and looks good. So if you're looking for powerful action all round opt for the hard wire as this just doesn't do it on 13 amp plug in. It is fast to heart up and nearly on par with gas hob in that respect.

I received: Induction Hob 2 Ring, Two Zone Built-in Induction Cooktop with 9 Power Levels,30CM Electric Hob 3500W, Touch Control,Timer,Child-safety Lock,220~240V, No Plug,Installation Required I picked this up because we are in the initial stages of getting our kitchen remodeled and it has long been a niggle for me that when our solar panels and battery are providing free electricity, I'm boiling my potatoes over a gas ring. I tried a free-standing, single induction ring and could not believe how much better it was than my memories of electric cooking so I want to have one in my kitchen even just to supplement my gas hob. The appliance comes with no plug, since it's for hard-wiring into a permanent switch. There are also comprehensive instructions on what's required for fitting and it's very simple to drop it into the correct sized hole with the included brackets holding it. I have attached a plug so that I could test it out without having a permanent location for it. The body of the unit is made from plastic and is very light, which surprised me. There's also a built-in fan. The rings heat up incredibly quickly, basically instantly, and can boil water a lot faster than my kettle. Control is via touch icons, which are intuitive. With the exception of some glass ones, all my pans these days have magnetic bottoms so I've had no trouble with any of these working. Cool-down is amazingly fast with this hob. As quickly as I can set a pot to the side and point my laser thermometer at the ring, it's down below 60 degrees, meaning it is no hotter than holding a cup to tea. I'm totally impressed with this induction hob. I love how convenient it is to use and how much of an improvement it is over an electric hob. I already have a Karienvir 36L air fryer oven that I have come to depend on and enjoy using so it's becoming a bit of a trusted brand for me. If it takes too long to do my kitchen or I change my mind about incorporating this small unit into the design I'll possibly build it into a frame for occasional and outdoor cooking.
