Orgain 20g Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptides Powder, Unflavored, 1lb

We've been using this brand of collagen peptides powder for several years and we really like this one more than any other brand due to quality and price. My husband adds this to his tea and I add it to coffee and it has absolutely no flavor. It also dissolves easily and doesn't clump at all unlike some others we've tried. I've found that it has definitely helped my hair the most. He uses it mostly for cartilage and tendons since he has injured himself in the past. I definitely recommend this product!

Yes, it works. And it works even better if you do this... Pair it with PT and a vitamin routine. I started taking a good multivitamin and vitamin C gummies with this to make sure I was getting the full effects of the collagen. I also started increasing my PT sessions at home, doing at least 2-3 PT session daily. Moving your body helps increase circulation through your body which helps pump nutrients into that part of your body. I've been dealing with a lot of knee pain from a knee injury I got 7 months ago. Bone contusions and micro cartilage tearing can take over a year to fully heal. I finally got to the point where I needed to start walking on my knee in order to continue moving forward with my recovery, but it's been really painful. Every time I put weight on my injured leg, I felt really sharp pain on the inner side of my knee. Out of frustration and desperation, I did some quick research and discovered that collagen can help decrease joint pain. After reading the reviews, I was still a little skeptical but decided to try it. And I can't even tell you how glad I am that I did because it absolutely works. After 3 weeks of consistently using this stuff my sharp knee pain is completely gone. I still have some very mild soreness and tightness from the injury that I am working through, but that is to be expected. This isn't a cure for my injury, but it is a solution for the intense pain I was experiencing. As far as the taste and smell is concerned, yes there is a very subtle smell and after taste. The best way to mask it is to put it in a smoothie. This is the way I enjoyed taking it the most by far. I actually couldn't even tell it was in there. The fruit just does a really good job of hiding it. I also tried taking it in my coffee. While it's still okay this way, I could definitely tell it was in there. If you add some extra sweetener and cinnamon to your coffee, it helps. It mixes perfectly fine into both smoothies and coffee. However, mixing it into cold beverages takes a little more work. As a side note, I did not experience any digestive issues or stomach problems, so looks like everything should be good there. I also haven't really noticed any difference in my skin yet, but my hair and nails do actually feel healthier. Bottom Line: If you've got any kind of joint pain or musculoskeletal soreness, I highly recommend trying this. It's worth a shot.

I love how easily it dissolves and how it adds a good amount of protein without changing the flavor of my food or drinks. It’s a great option when you want to increase your protein intake without adding any extra taste.

Solid collagen powder. It has a bit more of a taste than some others I've tried. For that reason I use it only with smoothies not in my morning tea which is why I bought it. For smoothies it's perfect and I cannot taste it at all. The quality of the collagen itself was good I noticed my skin looked nice and my after workout soreness was reduced vs when I didn't have any. Compared to other collagen it just has more of a taste.

I ordered this to aide healing of a broken kneecap and took it in combination with calcium, Vit. D &K2. I want to believe that it helped because my doctor was impressed with the healing progress after 5 weeks. I mix it in coffee, breakfast cereal with yogurt, scrambled eggs, pancake syrup (makes it opaque, but doesn’t change the flavor), smoothies, soups, and dips or chocolate milk (extra calcium!) It takes a bit more work to dissolve it in cold liquids, but can be done. No flavor or odor unless you stick your nose in it.

I have been taking this for the last 6 years. I can absolutely attest to the amazing results of this product. Mostly, it’s my hair. I am 62 and I get compliments on may hair all the time. It’s become thicker, stronger and grows a lot faster than it ever used to. My skin has also improved and my nails are very strong and no longer split and break like they used to. I put a scoop in my coffee every morning. LOVE this stuff!

Dissolves better in warm liquids. Has an odd taste like bovine that taints the flavor of your beverage. Not my favorite. Digests well, but will not buy again

I just started using this more than a month ago and I love it. It goes down easy, no taste. Overall excellent.

i don’t want to sound over reacting but this gives me a good feeling already after first use…Mind you i am coming from off the shelf protein powders from Muscletech and Isopure. My gut seem to be at ease with this…my skin feels glowing too haha….we’ll see long term use hopefully this holds up

I like this product but recently i feel the taste has changed I put it my black coffee but can really taste it now :( it does grow on you a bit but was better before
