I have tried many things to keep the geese out of my yard with mixed success and failure. I put up a goose fence made out of fishing line...which was pretty effective, but a major pain when it came to mowing the lawn and tripping people at night. Also, the young were small enough to walk under the bottom line and the adults won't leave the young, so they figure it out even though they don't like it.Decoys are a total joke. They don't work at all.I have had this device for a week now and have noticed a tremendous reduction in the amount of geese and ducks in my yard and on my dock. There has not been one duck on my dock since activating this unit and the geese definitely do not like it. Most stay away and those that do get close act very strange once it activates. They walk away from the it rather quickly and generally far enough away that they are no longer a nuisance.I am hopeful that these get restocked very soon. I will be purchasing several more.

when I first turned this on, it seemed to work well. it actually drove my cat off the couch and upstairs. Stuck it outside to scare away the chip munks. seemed to help, then the unit broke two days later,. in life, things break, but its how the seller handles those things that makes the biggest difference. after an initial lag, which may have been related to email systems, seller connected with me and was more than fair in resolving the issue. Seller sent a replacement unit without me having to make the request and didn't make me go through the return process. Great service and I look forward to doing additional business with Beatunes

I bought this product to keep rabbits from eating my lawn. It took a little time, but the product seems to be working. Several of my neighbors have asked me about the product since rabbits are a major problem in our area this time of the year. One of the reasons I am writing this review is due to the customer service of the company. I had a couple of questions when I initially received the product and I contacted the customer service department of the manufacturer. I immediately got a response from Souphen, who was extremely helpful. Not only did he answer my questions, but he followed up with me several times to see whether I was happy with the product. It's nice to get good customer service!

Just looked out my bedroom window to see 3 dove calmly pecking away not 10 feet from this device and earlier today noticed several dove in the tree right above. The flashing lights seem to bother me more than the birds. I will give it another day to evaluate the effectiveness before requesting a refund.Okay I have been watching and I think I may have been premature in my criticism . I have noticed a decline in dove traffic and maybe it is keeping the squirrels away which was why I purchased it to begin with. The down side it keeping the hummingbirds away from the plants out front, but I will give that up if it keeps the squirrels away from the eves of my house and eating my sprinkler system soaker hoses.

Bought two units around the beginning of summer. These units worked amazingly to keep the birds and 4-legs off the lawn of my house. Looking at the other reviews it made me think that these things were a hit or miss. But I still wanted to try because I want to see it myself and there is no other better way to keep the animals off my lawn. The results were basically instant. And these units lasted all the way through the summer and fall this year. However, they died at the end of the year when there was excessive rainfalls. It looks like the solar panel was not properly sealed against weather. So the water got behind the panel and corroded the panel. A quick message to the seller got my two replacement units. I plan to use them the next spring. The seller indicated that they will improve the design so that water will be kept away from the back side of the solar panel. Even if they did not replace them, I would still be happy about the result. Again, these things are very effective and people should try and see for themselves. Kudos to the seller as they stand behind their products.

Got the shipment and immediately put it to use. I have tried several different locations but the pigeons are still coming around. The only time they are scared is when I am outside messing with the unit.

Initially I was pleased as this device appeared to be working in driving a skunk or two and some rabbits we had raiding our backyard. However, after just 3 1/2 weeks, the lights stopped flashing. I could hear the ultra-sound "clicking", but the 5 place dial only went to off or fully on, no incremental settings functioned. Returned it to Amazon.UPDATE: The seller contacted me and sent me a new unit without me even requesting it. That is excellent service. I have placed the new unit and hope it will continue to function better than the first one did. Assuming it continues to function through the Fall, I would raise my review to 4 stars.

UPDATE:======The seller was kind enough to send me an updated version of their device for free in order for me to test. And I can confirm that it’s TOTALLY ANOTHER PRODUCT! All the issues of the original review are addressed. Lithium battery charges for a half an hour and does not discharge after several days. Motion sensor is much better - it does not give false positives. Sensitivity adjustment knob actually works - I tested it thoroughly at home. By far I don’t see any drawbacks of ver. 2 product. It should’ve been like this since the beginning.======On the item I purchased left knob adjusting sensitivity actually adjusted nothing. The device was on even with that knob in the leftmost position reacting on every wind blow and leaf motion. Besides, it discharged from fully charged state for 3 days on my balcony where there is a direct sunlight at least during half a day.It’s a pity that the real AI camera vendors do not produce this kind of devices.
