This is my favorite hot sauce by far. It isn't so spicy that you'll cry but its warm enough that it would really make a bowl of chili even tastier. I put this on sandwiches, eggs, over rice, anything. You can really taste the garlic and jalapeño without it being just straight spice and no flavor. I super recommend this if you like garlic!

If you're looking for a replacement for your favorite Jalapeno sauce (mine was Poblano Brand), then this is the one I would go for. It's not exactly the same, but equally as good, if not better than the Poblano brand. This sauce is nice and thick, and it pours well from it's easy-pour spout. This sauce was made for those that are going to reach for it often, and that shows in the design of the bottle. The sauce itself is fantastic! Full bodied Jalapeno flavor, with a nice garlic finish, and just the right amount of vinegar bite. This has become my new standard green sauce, with the Truff green held in reserve for special occasions.

My husband and I travel regularly to Colombia, and some of my favorite memories come from exploring Medellín and Cartagena and experiencing the local customs, traditions, and flavors. I first tried Melinda’s during one of those trips, so finding it again on Amazon felt like bringing a small piece of that travel experience home. This Fire Roasted Jalapeño sauce has a very distinct personality. The first thing I notice is the vinegar. It is clearly present and gives the sauce a bright, tangy opening, but it never becomes harsh or overwhelming. Behind it comes the smoky flavor of the roasted jalapeño, followed by a very noticeable garlic note. Those three elements work beautifully together: the vinegar keeps the pepper heat lively and balanced, the roasting adds depth, and the garlic gives the sauce a savory finish. I would describe the heat as flavorful and approachable rather than punishing. It has enough spice to wake up a dish, but the vinegar prevents the jalapeño from simply overwhelming the tongue. That balance makes it much more versatile than a sauce whose only purpose is to be hot. We use it in several very different ways. It is excellent tossed with chicken wings straight from the air fryer, where the tang and garlic complement the crisp skin without making the wings heavy. It is equally good at breakfast on eggs or inside a breakfast burrito, where the salsa-verde character brightens the richer ingredients. It also works naturally with tacos, grilled meats, and vegetables. This is the kind of sauce that earns a permanent place in the refrigerator because it has a recognizable flavor of its own and enough versatility to reach for throughout the day. Finding it on Amazon was wonderfully convenient, and the flavor lived up to the memory that made me look for it again. Five stars.

Melinda is a quality product. Just knowing the name you know you are receiving a product that is spicy, consistent and you are getting value for your money.

Not Hot bur god flavor

Great flavor. Blends well with other sauces. Mild heat.

Ok so while I'm a personal superfan of Melinda's ghost pepper sauce, a close associate of mine swears by the roasted jalapeño variant and I understand why. It's because he's weak, and can't take the heat. In all fairness this sauce IS delicious, but if you like spicy food in general, this won't hit the spot. Good as an additive to tacos, or fish, but if you're looking to break a sweat you'll need something extra.

I was concerned this might be to spicy but it is not. It has an amazing flavor. I put it on eggs and all kinds of other foods. Definitely glad I tried it. Simply amazing.
