Belemay Handcrafted Crazy Horse Leather Case for AirPods Pro 2, Brown

I really like this leather case for my AirPods. I'm not well versed in leather, but this seems to be full-grain. My AirPod case fits snugly inside and seems well protected. If I had to complain, the thickness of the case ever so slightly covers the lanyard holes, making it difficult to thread one through. But careful application of a sharp pointy device to push the loops in and out fixed that. And hey, part of what you're paying for is thick leather.

Just received the case/sleeve today. Beautiful! It holds the AirPods Pro 3 case snug and fit perfectly. I first placed the top in place without the "glue pad", to check the fit due to some of the reviews stating how it fell off easily. Mine fit secure and with some handling, did not come off without effort to remove it. The finish of the leather is perfect to allow for a unique patina to form as it is not waxed or sealed when tanned. The case does charge wireless and on the MagSafe but could not hold on to the charger due to no fitting for the it in the case (but it did function).

I’ve had this case for some time now & it’s been through a lot. Still, it’s managed to keep its color, shape, & has never let me down. My EarPods still work like they did when I bought them & they’ve been dropped more times than I can count (even survived a snowstorm in this case…found the case & EarPods inside completely frozen over). No issues to date !

I have been using this case on my AirPods Pro 3 case since the day they were released. The fit is great. I can open and close the case with no problem. The cut out for the charging light on the front is placed perfectly, as is the charging port and the speaker ports on the bottom. I also have a lanyard attached, and the cut out for it is good too. The cover simply slides over the body and the lid, and while I originally thought that the cover for the lid may come off easy, I can happily say that to date, it never has. I have carried my AirPods with this cove in place in jeans pockets, scrub pants pockets and jacket pockets and it's never been a problem. It has been dropped and thrown around and still stayed on. I use my AirPods daily, and I can say that this cover has done the exact job I had doped for. I do have 2 "issues" with it though. First, as expected, this cover will make wireless charging a bit more tedious. It's a good thing that this cover isn't super thin as this protects the case and AirPods better, but that means that if not perfectly placed on the wireless charger, they may not charge. But, if placed correctly, it will indeed charge them as expected. So, this isn't really an issues, so much as a note that confirms what is expected. The other "issue" is how the case has worn over time. Like I said, I use my AirPods daily, so it is constantly being picked up and put down, slid into pockets, dropped and even thrown or tossed around (gently anyway...) As seen in the photo, the leather does look a bit worn... I understand that leather will wear in a unique way, and to be honest, I don't think it is wearing bad, but it does seem to be a little more battle scared than other leather items I have with this amount of use... Anyway, I have been quite happy wit this case and I would suggest it for those looking for a lesser expensive leaver case option for your AirPods Pro 3's!

Looks great. Feels great. Color not an exact match to phone case but, it is leather and colors can naturally vary. In certain light it actually looks identical. Initially concerned about the top falling off because of the reviews. So I bought a double sided tape roller just to be safe. Then I bought a lanyard which I modified to make it fit with the loop; now hopefully less likely to fall. Charges easily on MagSafe. Hole cut-outs perfect.

Honestly one of the worst items I’ve ever bought. The product is not cut to the right size AT ALL. It is incredibly poorly designed. There is an inner plastic shell within that the leather is glued to. This would be fine in theory if the plastic shell fit . . . But it does not. The plastic does not allow the plastic of the AirPod case to slide in. Plastic tightly against plastic does not work at least not these two types of plastic. It feels like no one ever actually tried this on a case before putting in the factory order. I managed to get the AirPod case halfway into the Belemay case and found it was a fools errand. I quickly realized that if I continued and managed to get the case all the way on, I would never be able to get it off. Some people may be ok with that but I for one would like the option to remove the case should I want to for some reason. So I then spent the next 20 minutes desperately trying to free the half applied case. I finally was able to do it, but I had to basically break the leather case off. Beyond shocked and disappointed by the terrible quality / design.

I had the previous version of this case, and the first thing I noticed here is how much thinner it is. It feels less bulky in the pocket and overall more refined, which is a big improvement. The leather still looks great. It has that vintage style with a nice texture, and it should age well over time. Grip is solid too, it doesn’t feel slippery and sits nicely in your hand. Fit is good and all the cutouts line up properly. Charging works fine with MagSafe and wireless chargers, so no issues there. My only real complaint is the lack of magnets. There are no magnets to help keep the lid closed more securely, and nothing on the back to really lock into MagSafe. It still works for charging, but it doesn’t have that snap-in-place feel you get with magnetic cases. Overall, it’s a cleaner, slimmer version with the same nice leather feel, just missing that extra bit of security.

This leather case for my AirPods Pro 3 gives it much needed character, and the two-tone effect and natural patina will give it a personality of its own. The texture adds a nice grip that makes it feel great, but also less likely to slip out of my hands. The case works with wireless charging, and the precise cutouts allow wired charging with no issues. The vintage color is elegant and understated, and complements the leather wonderfully. Overall, this base looks super premium, with great build quality and a nice design, and works great as an everyday carry case for your AirPods Pro 3.
