I'm writing this review whilst sitting in my bivvy in France where I've been fishing for the week, this head lamp has got to be the best headlamp I have ever used. Rechargeable and very bright. Also the hand sensor wave on wave off it's a revelation! And not having to cycle through useless functions / flashing that you do not need. If your reading this considering the options just buy the damb thing best money ever spent on a torch and it's been awesome in the nights here in France by the lake.

Bought this light to put on my hard hat as I work as an electrician. It is bright enough for what I need and the beam spread is great. Being able to recharge is a god send and the no touch on off function is handy but can get on your nerves in small spaces, but you can disable this function. Good light, bright and tough. I would recommend for outdoors, dog walking and fishing.

This light is brilliant especially for the price. I am disabled and have to use a crutch to walk and until now, have not felt comfortable going out after dark without being able to see whats going on around me. The strip led light on this totally sorts this problem out! I cant recommend it high enough! The only issue with mine was it is meant to come with a small protective cover to protect the charging port but mine was not there so hope to reach out to the seller to return and get a replacement to make sure that it is fully waterproof

Used it as a work light while decorating at home, doing electrical work in low light areas at work and while walking at night. I found the cob light to be most useful. It provides a wide spread of light that gives a very good field of view while walking. The spot light is brighter but covers a smaller area. It's good when you need high brightness detail work or when you need to see significant distances. It does have flashing modes which could be useful when trying to make the light last longer or make the wearer more visible. There are two buttons on the unit, one for the cob light function and one for the spotlight function. The buttons are a good size and easy to operate with hands and, due to their shoe, should be ok to use with gloves. When turning on and off it remembers the last setting so there's no need to cycle through all the options all the time. I liked that. The wave on/off works well although I did find it falsely activate while working with arms/hands close to head. It's not a problem though, in that case you just wouldn't enable the wave on/off. The usb charge port is covered by a rubber flap that provides some protection against dust and water. It's easy to move to expose the charge port and the cover is retained so it won't be lost. Battery life was decent. Lasting a few hours before dropping in brightness on full cob brightness. Other modes could provide a longer life. The band is wide and comfortable enough for several hours of wear. I have used direct on head and on hardhat and there is enough adjustment in the band to accommodate this. It did slip off the hard hat a few times but it could have been fixed easily with some tape if needed. I can't mark it down for that since it's not the intended use. Highly recommended headtorch!

The buttons on my unit do not work reliably, sometimes requiring several presses to switch on or off. The brightness is very good as is the comfort, but I was pretty shocked by how poor the battery life was. Maybe I have a dodgy unit? Update - bought May 2020 - October 2020 unit pretty useless. Main beam no longer functions and it no longer seems to charge i.e. while on charge the light changes from red to green indicating full charge, but when you switch it on it's as if there's no power as the beam is incredibly weak. This is extremely poor after just a very few months of occasional use. In real terms that really means this thing has lasted maybe two weeks of daily use - avoid!

We replaced the lights on our landing recently and whilst taking the old ones down I got sick of being told off for not holding the torch in the right place so my Husband could see what he was doing so I checked out Amazon and found this little beauty. I honestly don’t think he could have worked without this brilliant little head lamp - made the job so much easier. Really bright, comfy to wear and easy to turn on and off - a must have for any DIY enthusiast and also ideal for spotting cobwebs in corners!

The torch is comfortable and bright, I use it for walking the dogs when it’s dark. However the buttons are really hard to push on. At first I thought it was broken, but I eventually got it to work. Also there were no spare batteries as indicated on the box. I have not contacted the company yet but will do.

Very very happy with this head torch. It very light and easy to use. It has Different light modes but the ones I use the most are the spot ligh (top) and the lower led (wide light). It has rechargable battery. Battery life is really good. You can wave in front of torch light to turn it on and off 😄😄 what a great idea. I work mostly outside and at night in differnet weather conditions this is my best tool at the moment. The charging is a bit slow but For the price it is an amazing piece of kit. I have included some photos of a vehicle i was working on at complete darkness with different lighting modes. Hope this helps.

I bought this to replace my ancient, heavy battery-pack, incandescent -bulb, Petzl headlamp of which I just saw one on eBay for sale described as "vintage" - ha! Anyhow, I was going on my first-ever night time trail run and wanted to have something that was newer and hopefully brighter and more reliable. I am happy to report that this fit the bill perfectly for our 3 hour run. I brought a couple of mini led flashlights with me just in case, but no need for them in the least. This headlamp provided plenty of light, was comfortable on my giant skull, was easily adjustable for near/far and different brightness levels. Since I have only used it once, I cannot report on reliability, but I hope it will last! One feature of this that sounds cool, but I am not so sure about is the motion sensing on/off. You can set this so that it will turn on or off if you wave your hand in front of the light. I have not done testing to see how close you have to be to activate this, but it seemed to me that it could be dangerous if you were out trail running and a tree branch waved across that field and turned your light out on you. As I said, I have not tested this, but it's something to check out. I also have not fiddled around with the two different lights, but did not realize until I got it that only one or the other can be on at one time. Not a big issue, because either one on their own provides plenty of light.. and I suppose it would drain the battery much more quickly to have them both on. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase, and recommend this lamp.

Vraiment bien… un peu difficile à manipuler… mais très fonctionnel… j aime bcp au point que j en ai commandé un deuxième ;)

Pluspunkt: keine Batterie erforderlich, sondern einfach via USB-Kabel an den Rechner stecken und aufladen lassen. Danach hält sie eine gute Weile durch, in der sie vielseitig verwendbar ist, um zielgenau auszuleuchten woran immer man grade arbeitet, während man beide Hände frei hat. Die Lampe ist mir zum praktischen und nicht mehr wegzudenkenden Helfer für viele Tätigkeiten geworden, unter anderem auch wenn ich am Rechner rumschrauben muss.
