THIS is a ruler! *by M***M on July 18, 2022* If you are into crafts or other technical hobbies where accurate measurements or even just a good straight-edge are needed... THIS is THE ruler. It lays perfectly flat. It is easy to read (English / Metric sides). The markings are etched into the metal, not just painted. Will probably last a lifetime and then another. It feels sturdy / stiff in the hand, not flimsy. The 1/32 and 1/64 marks on the English side and 1/2-mm marks on the metric side are fantastic for precise measurements. It may seem trivial, but good tools make a big difference... even "just a ruler." Spend a couple of extra dollars on this PRECISION ruler and be done with it. I got the 6" version, too.
