I read some of the reviews and was hesitant to buy this product. I purchased it with reservations. I read the instructions carefully. The application is very simple if you follow the directions.I’ve included pictures.1. Cut around the word you want to apply.2. Peel the transfer paper “you can use the transfer paper multiple times.” I cut the transfer paper to fit the words. Be careful not to cut the transfer paper too short. “Happiness” is the biggest word. I almost came up short on my transfer paper.3. Lay your word face down on the sticky side of the transfer paper.4. Rub the back of the paper containing the word with a straight edge plastic item. Don’t use metal.5. Slowly peel the white paper containing the word off.6. You will then have the word on the clear transfer paper.7. Measure the width of your steps and the center if your word to apply in the center of your stairs. This can be done sooner.8. Take your plastic straight edge and rub your word onto your stair riser.Great look!

Each word and some letters are individual decals that have to be peeled from the paper and then mirror transfered to a grided plastic so the lettering can be leveled. After this transfere you then can transfer like a temp tattoo onto the surface.Upside, each letter/word is decaled with no plastic backing.Downside it is too time consuming figure this out with delicate letteringI am giving 3 stars only because if done correctly it will be a beautiful finish

A friend of mine had down her stairs and I thought they look so fantastic I thought I'd try for myself. I absolutely love the way they turned out. You have to be careful when putting them down to make sure they're all smoothed out but once that's done they look fabulous

These are individual letters that you have to peel off and stick to the wall. These were not stencils as we were led to believe. These are flimsy and do not work. Do not buy them

Love it. It turned out very nice. Getting the adhesive sheet on the graphic sheet was difficult because I couldn’t get it on straight and it kept getting bundled up. But overall they turned out great!

These labels turned out beautiful! It was fairly easy to do. Instructions for applying these are digraceful, confusing and incomplete. I used the general product description and the skimpy instruction manual. I relied heavily on very clearly written review comments from other buyers that were happy with the end result.

I thought these were peel offs they are hard to install

These are awesome. Very easy to install but wish the directions were more clear. You have to attach the adhesive by pulling the back off. If you don’t line it up correctly when applying the adhesive, you may miss a letter or two.
