Using it for the past 2 months and here's my experience about this iron:i got it paying 649₹, for this amount third is decent product. It's very light weight iron, so while ironing often you've to put little weight on it to get rid of creases. Iron soleplate is very thin, it get heated too quickly and if the temperature is not set as per clothing type it may damage the clothes. Coating on soleplate is not so of great quality and on edges it already has started coming out. so after a year or two it likely to get more coating getting out. Outer material is made of good quality plastics and it ensures no accidental burns and shock. Wire length could have been little more, despite it's good to use.

This is good Dry iron for the price. It is working as good. One thing I would however like to say is that cord length is short. I had old Philips Iron and it had good long heavy cord. Indian houses have outlets on higher side from the ground which makes it very inconvenient for me to maneuver with this iron. You can use extension cable/board but since this is a 1000w iron I would prefer it to plug directly with main socket. That's just my preference. You can go for it but be warned about the cord length. Just a suggestion to Bajaj to kindly provide long wires for your iron.
