Used this to hike in a swampy are. Soles have good traction. Shoe size was good. I tend to have larger calves... it was a little tight, but my blue jeans did fit inside the boots. For those complaining about the smell, what did you expect? They’re newly manufactured of rubber. Guess what they’re going to smell like?

these boots were a present for my dad's birthday, he likes them very much. These are comfortable, fit good, reviews said that I should buy a smaller size, so did I, and they fit perfectly. Happy with the price, too.

I returned due to the amount of leg that I’m lacking!! In order to wear these and actually walk in them, meaning my short legs couldn’t bend with these big boy boots!! Plus they were just altogether too large for my petite self lol

Love the quality of the boots; has a nice weight, but not too heavy. Only issue is size. Hubs normally wears a 9 shoe, so we ordered a 9 boot. Even with his heaviest socks, the boots are too big. We will return and order a smaller size.

Didn't like how it fit around my calves. Was way to big. Didn't quiet look like the picture.
