Excellent built quality in a fair price. Easy to use,very powerful motor. Dust exhaust system is amazing.

Pros : 1. Powerful enough. 2. Adjustable knobs & screws for depth & tilt cutting with lock (the small red button on the handle) for constant spinning. 3. Presence of blade cover that automatically snaps back into place is a big plus for safety. 4. Works with any standard size blade which can be tightened/ loosened with Allen key. 5. Comes with metal support guide for guiding while sawing. 6. Saw dust mostly exit through the slit. Cons : 1. No auxiliary handle as shown in pic. However it's heavy enough to compensate to an extent. 2. No variable speed. Conclusion : It's Bosch quality if you can forgive the cons. Note : 1. Always hold the saw firmly to negate kickbacks. 2. Before sawing, check for hammered metal bits like nails on the wood. Those may damage the blade. 3. I personally find the tilt sawing a bit difficult to master. 4. I'm not sure whether this model can cut tiles by changing the blade. Never tried.

I'm an amateur to woodworking and bought this after enough research. The saw is a little heavy and is a little intimidating to use in the beginning if you are amateur. But once you are used to this, you won't use anything else to cut your wood. It is extremely sturdy and hence offers smooth cuts. Adjustable in multiple ways - depth as well as angle. The edge guide is quite useful as well.

Packing viz very good and delivered before the time. U can Easily change blade. Compare to other co. Cutter very powerful and seffer and sharp cutting.

For such an expensive saw (8k+ at the time I bought it), I am very disappointed that the blade is neither (a) perpendicular to the sole of the base plate, nor (b) parallel to either edge of the base plate. The inaccuracy is between 2-3mm in both cases, so the effect is very noticeable when making long straight cuts. Even when running the saw along a straight cutting guide, the resulting cut is wavy and inconsistent (because the blade is at a slight angle to the guide line). Worse still, there's no way to adjust or remove the base plate (apparently such fine adjustments are available only on higher-end circular saws). Since the inaccuracy is much more than could be fixed by minor filing of the sides/sole, the only way to fix it is to drill holes in the base plate and attach a piece of plywood whose edges can then be carefully marked and made exactly parallel to the blade, and shimmed on one side to make the sole perpendicular to the blade. This fixes the problem with accuracy, but permanently reduces the available depth of cut. Another option would be to let the saw cut as it may and true up every edge with a router before use—at the expense of spending much more time preparing each piece. That said, the blade mount is secure and straight, with negligible runout (wobble) as measured with a dial indicator. The motor appears to be of good quality, and the handle and trigger mechanism are comfortable to use. I received the model without the auxiliary handle (which would have been useful, because the saw is heavy). If the base plate were not so inaccurate, I would be quite happy with the saw. I have no other complaints about it after some months of use. This would be fine as a construction-site saw for rough cutting plywood, where straight and square edges are not critical. It is unsuitable for cabinet work or joinery. Don't buy this saw for precise work unless you're willing to attach and adjust your own base plate and accept the permanently reduced depth of cut. Maybe it's the luck of the draw, and the saw I received was especially inaccurate, but since it's not adjustable at all, you would be taking a big risk anyway.

My 1st ever circular saw purchase. So I am yet to figure out it's experience with me. But one thing I would like to say that ...this machine gks190 is the one I settled down at last after months and months of research on circular saws and Drivers and drills. I have learnt much about this thing now . Rpm is 5400 n watt is 1400 which is enough to know before buying one such machine. I recieved after 6 or 7 days from the day of order. Looks very sturdy ,strong , reliable and promising. Very excited to use soon. Yes, the best amongst all the options available . Makita is also very fine brand. I bought this cos I had buy one n I have already purchased Makita impact driver TD0101. WHICH IS ALSO THE BEST.

Very happy with this saw. If u are working at a bench it is perfect. For awkward overhead cuts I found it a bit heavy and slightly cumbersome especially with the lead. This however is the only complaint I can make. This saw cuts and performs excellently.
