The short rod (length 5.9"/15cm) is a must to install the light, the other rods can be choosed according to your needs. so the minimum length of this 6-light chandelier is 15.3"/39cm.

I bought the fixture with 12 lights. Is it okay to use 60W globe bulbs or will the lights not work?
