I like to keep my door open for ventilation in the spring and fall, but that invites a lot of pests to enter my home. I'm a renter, so I have no intention of installing an actual screen door on my unusually narrow entrance door, which would probably demand some kind of custom job. Years ago I decided to try to magnetic mesh screen like this one, and it was far less cheesy-looking than I expected it. Unfortunately, after several seasons of tying back the mesh when I didn't plan to keep my door open, it started to develop holes where the mesh was folded over.I needed a replacement, and this one fit the bill. The price is fantastic and the quality of the mesh is very good. My only complaint is that there's only one small weight at the bottom of the curtain per side. This makes it easier for any slack in the fabric to allow gaps for insects to crawl through. Granted, most bugs will find the small gaps to get through, regardless, but I did like it better when it at least looked more even on the ground. As a solution, I took the weights out of my old screen and cut slits in the bottom trim of the new one so that I could slide them in. Obviously the same can be done with any slim but weighty object that you might have lying around.I appreciate that this curtain comes with some black thumbtacks. Even though the included velcro tape keeps the mesh securely attached to my door frame, I wanted to fold over the corners and do a better job of making the top flush with the frame. The tacks came in handy. In the end, even though the mesh might be a bit too large for my door frame, I was able to do a clean-looking installation.Of note for pet owners: my cat, who goes outside on my patio, was cautious for a couple of days the first time I installed one of these, but he quickly got used to using his face to get through.

Works great, easy to install and keeps the bugs out like it should

I ordered this screen to keep out flies and bugs.The screen mesh is good quality and appears sturdy. However, the magnetic wrapping fabric may not be strong enough as most of the door screens I use do not last more than a year using this fabric.Hope this door screen will hold up for a long time, even on hot, sunny days.The magnets are strong enough to close the door screen and worked well for about a month.And it looks pretty because there is lace at the top of the screen.The good thing is that the bottom has weight, which prevents bugs from entering the floor.

This screen works beautifully! It was easy to install by yourself, but definitely handy to have a second person to make sure it's at the correct height before securing to the door frame. It came with gold toned tacks but we bought some black ones to keep them from showing. It even works having the dog door and doesn't get caught up when the dog goes in and out. Great value for the price!

This screen door is well-made in good quality. The plastic screen mesh is thick and dense for its purpose to block out any bugs and insects from entering the house while breeze and fresh air could pass through. The two sides of the mesh door is hold together by the built-in magnets that are closely lined on both sides to minimize any gap.The installation is very easy and it comes with the Velcro strips and pins for mounting to the door opening. With the Velcro strips mounting method, you can easily remove the whole screen door later for storage.Overall, this is a good quality screen door and it works great as intended to block out the bugs.

Make sure you get the right size. Easy to install, as easy as cut a Velcro to size and stick to fall or frame. It brings some thumbnails for added support. Magnets are strong.
