I changed my mind about what window I was putting it in, and bought a second curtain last month. It's great that they were still available. The intended window is wide enough that a single curtain just wasn't enough.I love the silky material on these. I was actually expecting something more homespuny, so the quality was a nice surprise.I gathered both curtains on the rod, and having all that material gathered is lovely to begin with. Then did all four ties in a row. This is actually kind of tricky because the material is slippery, and it's hard to make all the ties end up at the same height. I had to loosen a few knots and pull the bow loops a little to make these adjustments, and this is where the silky fabric was really helpful. The curtains are already up on the rod, and it's a reach, even with a stepladder, to get the four ties tied.I managed (and I don't plan to take them down often), and they really look nice. The window these are on is a tall window, so these curtains would never have been long enough if I'd wanted to just leave them hanging straight down, so the blackout feature is irrelevant for me.
