Fun way to introduce science
Got my 5 year old a few sets for Christmas and he loves them! Just add water, shake, and reveal the surprise. Did get one that fizzed extra hard and then exploded in our face so maybe wear goggles but still fun! Good quality loved that there was two in a tube.

It is nice to be able to pick which one you’re getting. We’ve seen these at SDCC 2024, kiddo says he wants it. You get a variation of swarms that you will get. We got lucky no dups. Kiddo has started collecting these, we wants the Hyperchrome swarm so bad. We are on the hunt!

Didn't get the one pictured
Considering there are different options for you to choose from when ordering, I assumed that the one I picked was the one I'd get, but that is not the case. I realized as soon as I got it, that it has to be a random one, because none of the ones we were looking for, were in this, as they were in the description photo that we sifted through before choosing. That was disappointing and pointless, as, if it's going to be a random choice, why not just say it's random? As far as the product itself, it's just a simple "mystery" set, and as usual, expensive for what it is, but, all brand specific things are, and it's no more than any other mystery items. The test tubes are cute, and you simply leave the bagged pieces in the vial and add water, where it fizzles, similar to a 3rd grade volcano experiment with vinegar and baking soda, so it can get messy, and I recommend doing over a large bowl or sink. The bags do not completely dissolve, so I recommend choosing a large bowl, just to avoid pieces going down the sink. Overall, my kid was thrilled with this and already asking for more, but as a parent, I was still disappointed I got one different than what we selected. I guess all that really matters is it made my son's day recieving this, and he already is asking Santa for more. He says it is "perfect" and "awesome", so I am going in the middle of what his review is vs what mine is, and giving these 4 stars. Had it been the right one I ordered, I would have probably given these 4 stars anyway.

Item missing
The back of the package was to include “Special Edition Panther”. The plastic section which was to contain the Panther was cracked and the item was missing and was not in the bottom of the packing box.
