Der Gasbrenner kommt mit einer sehr stabilen kleinen Tasche, die widerrum gut im Trangia Wasserkocher passt für den Transport. Den Alkohol-Brenner nehme ich trotzdem noch mit, was weiß ja nie, ob der Gasvorrat ausgeht. Etwas rätselhaft war das Etikett in einem sehr stabilen Kunststoff; ich habe es entfernen müssen mit einer stabilen Schere, damit der Kocher durch das Loch des Windschutzes passt. Das Einstellrad ist sehr stabil und lässt sich sehr gut dosieren. Die Gasmenge lässt sich auf sehr hoch drosseln; ich habe es eigentlich noch nie voll aufgedreht. Wasser kocht sehr schnell. It's quicker for a start - much quicker, and roars away like a jet engine on full whack - suddenly cooking methods like frying are much easier, simmering is much easier with gas burner too and easier to adjust whilst on the go and with no burnt fingers, if you run out of gas whilst cooking you can just unscrew the old canister and attach a new one - no waiting for anything to cool down first.
