Intact, Soft and Round.
I bought these brushes despite a few reviews of frayed/damaged brushes. That was not the issue for me, all the brushes arrived intact and I've been quite excited to use them. — Really soft bristles. Since they were synthetic they aren't comparable to specialised watercolor brushes, but provide as a substitute. — (In my case) All brushes were intact, well rounded and soft. — Good grip. I have been using them ever since for watercolor and acrylic paints. Only issue is that after long usage a few very small bristles might come off during painting, but that is something I've usually experienced with Faber Castell. But there is no heavy shedding since they are synthetic.
