This review is for Milk Thistle for Dogs - 120 Chewable Tablets - Liver and Kidney Support for Dogs - Hepatic Support with EPA & DHA - Detox for Dogs - Liver Supplement for Dogs with Choline and L-Arginine (Tablets). I started using this with SAMe from Coco and Luna to replace the Denamarin shortage a few years ago and have never gone back. My dog takes the Milk Thistle and SAMe willingly unlike Denamarin where I practically had to force it down his throat and he would try to spit it out every time (even when I wrapped it in Greenies pill pockets)! It was so stressful trying to give him Denamarin every day until I had to (thankfully) find alternatives to it. It turned out to be the best thing that happened to us. We’re both so happy with the switch. I have to give my boy 3 pills daily in combination with 3 SAMe according to his weight. He likes these and swallows them like treats every day! OMG! Had I only known about these earlier! My boy is almost 13 years old now and he’s as healthy as ever thanks to this and SAMe from Coco and Luna. The bottle always arrives nicely sealed inside and out for safety with the lot and expiration date clearly stated on the bottle (about 2 years from today). Overall, a wonderful life saver. We have both the Milk Thistle and SAMe on subscription and we’re very pleased with them. We only want Made in the USA products for our boy. We’ll give this product a 5.0/5.0 -09/11/2023.

These are a bit harder than most supplement treats but not crunchy. Just more dense than you would probably expect. So there may be some issues if your older pet has had teeth removed. If not then it'll be down to if your pet likes the smell/taste or not. I have two, my picky one who pretty much only likes meat won't touch these, my other who will eat almost anything chomps these down.

I have been using these with my 15 year old dogs. They love the flavor and eat it out of my hand like it is a treat. It has certainly been an asset to their excellent health.

My dog would not eat them unfortunately, so it was a wasted purchase. Can’t return. These might work if you could hide it in a piece of cheese or something, but my dog has kidney and liver disease and cannot have anything fatty. So cheese is a no no. Cons: They stink They are hard as a rock

I've added milk thistle to my dog's food before, but never with such visual results. We have seen a difference in a skin condition-- cysts have disappeared after 3 months of daily use. Nothing else changed in his senior diet. It may be the overall combination of herbs, vitamins, and oils. Although not bargain-priced, it's cheaper and easier to administer than buying the ingredients separately.
