I noticed a coolant leak and saw it was coming from the weep hole on the underside of the water pump shaft. The seal had gone bad. I did the replacement after watching YouTube videos. All worked out fine. I have a new water pump and no leaks.

Well I installed this pump a few months ago, and it’s still running strong. It was a great day project. Would have gone quicker but some technician took an air chisel to my fan clutch and it took me two hours to get the fan off. Other than that, the pump fit like a glove and is running great.

Excellent product. For perfect on my 2016 Ram 1500 5.7 liter Hemi. Replaced the thermostat also. Took approx 4 hours to change. Saved approx $700.00 by doing it myself, as the garage quoted me a price of $900.00 to change it. So far, so good after driving 1000 km.
