Worked great for catching a stray cat! The opening was small than I thought it would be so look at the measurements.

This is a decent net, and the "chicken catching hook" is probably useful as well. I found it to be not particularly sturdy, though. And the nylon used for the netting is pretty harsh-feeling; we did not want to use it for our birds.

We have purchased it for the catching escaping poultry ( chickens), I like the quality overall but I did find it a bit heavy!

I tried a fishing net before this and it broke within a month. I catch chickens and ducks with this net, it’s nice and sturdy with a long pole that helps reach those quick ducks. The opening is barely large enough for my ducks, but it’s better than the fishing net I used before.

Go buy a fishing net. This is too small. Unless you have baby chicks.

Saves me from chasing flighty chickens and guinea hens. Sturdy. Good net material. Very good price for what you get. I'd buy it again.
