Stand for Rottner mailbox with parcel compartment - including mounting material - 1430 mm high - free-standing installation

I can't fit the one pole into the other and I do have it lined up right so the holes are together. What a silly bottom end no spike! I can hardly believe it. Mine has to return as no option to speak to seller either. Only option is to cement if the poles fitted together. In the states I had a spike version hammered into the ground. What a pity as the poles are very good quality I think advert needs to say necessary to cement in. Box it came in was gigantic. Ok I went to post office after a lot of time getting this into car as wouldn't fit without boot open. The post office said they can't take it to go to main PO. I went to main PO they said £16 something to return so I am now putting in for collection as I'm in a state because of disability. The box they sent it it was huge and I think the cost of return is size not weight. If people want to sell on Amazon they should be more responsible if an item needs return. The it doesn't slot together as is supposed to and I'm not the only one who experienced this. I'm disgusted with what I've gone thru this morning. Who needs this type of heavy post anyway for an aluminium USA mail box. It's a bad idea.

This is a good quality heavy post. It needs securing in the ground with post mix or similar as there is no base or spike to the post.The product box was ripped in half when delivered and the post itself has 5 different paint chips. It was clearly boxed for delivery like this as the Amazon box isn’t damaged. The only option is to return for a refund and re order a new one which delays us in putting the post box up so we’ve decided to keep it despite the damage

The brackets are possibly the most badly made thing I have ever bought!Very cheap, light metal. I live next to the sea, if they last a year I will be surprised.I also had to drill new holes, as there was no way on Earth that they would have fitted.That is not too big of a deal, as I am handy with tools, some people are not.The actual pole is sturdy.

This product really is substantial and heavy duty. Only one hole in the attachment clip did not match/fit perfectly in alignment with the "American Mailbox" (The type officially approved by U.S. Mail - it has an eagle on the front etc., etc., of the mailbox flap). We therefore had to drill another hole in the aluminum mailbox so that the attached screw would fit it perfectly. I did this quite easily, especially since I'm definitely not a DIY man.

Brackets did not fit around pole and when they finally did holes didn’t line up. It’s a quality pole just brackets let it down and post box is a hell of a lot worse!!!!!!!

Sadly this product was not fit for purpose. None of the bolts lined up so was unable to use with US mailbox I ordered without redrilling holes. Most of the holes were the wrong size (too small) and the mail box support brackets were complete off centre so did not fit at all. I would not purchase again and threw mine away.

The brackets bear little or no resemblance to the picture and can only be fitted by bending theminto a wide spread and then bending the ends to fit the holes. Very poorly made. The pole itself is good heavy duty steel.

Ignore for the moment the ludicrous situation where the pole has to be bought separately, the pole brackets don't fit the postbox! The holes are in the wrong place and the brackets are not the right size for the box. Why can't these companies even do the basics right?! I'm returning it all.
