Bee Fruits-Durian Chips, Thai Snack 2.3 Ounce Bag

I normally buy freeze-dried durian and the flavour and smell is strong and they taste absolutely delicious. Very close to the fresh fruit.What a disappointment these chips were, they do not smell or taste of durian at all, in fact when you open the packet and taste them, the only smell and taste is of oil and salt, I think peanut oil because they taste like raw peanuts and salt - absolutely disgusting! It never mentioned containing oil and salt in the description when I was buying them.I tried these chips because although not cheap, they are cheaper than the freeze-dried that I usually buy. I would have bought the King Fruit freeze dried but they do not ship to my address (France) so I have to buy a much more expensive brand, but I would rather pay more and eat less of it and have the wonderful flavour of raw (nothing added) durian.Not only are Bee Fruits-Durian Chips awful, I do not eat peanut oil, and I bought six packets which, with postage to France, cost me £40. Sadly I am going to have to throw them in the bin and hopefully I have learnt a lesson from this.Do NOT purchase these chips. If you have never tasted durian fruit and you buy these chips, you still will not know what durian fruit tastes like, and if you love durian fruit like I do, then you will be very disappointed. Only buy freeze-dried durian with no additives - no oil and salt!
