womens Newton Ridge Plus Waterproof Amped

I am very impressed with the Columbia Women’s Newton Ridge Plus Amped boots. True to size. Right out of the box they were incredibly comfortable, with no break in period needed. The cushioning and support make them easy to wear for long walks, hikes, or all day errands without foot fatigue. The traction feels stable and secure on different surfaces, and the boots are lightweight while still feeling durable and well made. They provide great support without feeling stiff or heavy. For the quality, these boots are an excellent value for the money. They perform like much more expensive hiking boots while still being stylish enough for everyday wear. Overall, they are super comfortable, reliable, and a great investment.

Had these for a few years now. Definitely have ran them through the seasons. Still very comfortable. I feel very supported in them. I always carry my baby on my back when hiking so it's nice to have a good grip and ankle support. They are super cute colors, they fit great, good value for the price. I haven't had the best luck with other Columbia shoes so I am grateful these are holding up better than others I've tried. Hope they continue to hold up.

I am compelled to give a shout out to Columbia because these shoes are truly comfortable and appear very durable. And they’re really cute! My friend and I will be visiting Red Rocks in August for a concert. The venue is outdoors, where the rock has been cut away to provide a beautifully natural rocky outdoor concert hall that steps up for seating, steps down toward the stage. Concert goers should wear shoes with excellent traction to prevent slipping. I was worried about buying a pair of hiking boots without trying them on first because the traction might be an issue and ALSO my feet are in between sizes 7-1/2 and 8. After having lived in them for over a week now, I am pleased to report: These are perfect in all ways. No stiffness, great traction, they seem very durable…and they’re nice looking. I desired a high top that would provide stability, yet I was worried it would limit comfort. That’s not a problem at all, they are comfortable in all respects. Also, I’m finding comfort no matter whether wearing super thin or thick socks, tho I prefer a little thickness. While the shoes require some time to slip on and cinch, the result is support for both my feet and ankles.

These are very comfortable and warm. They do run small and the wide is barely wide. My feet stay dry and they are light and easy to walk in. But the way the laces slide under the leather logo on the tongue is terrible. If snow is any higher than an inch, the tongues act like a snow scoop. And if it’s actively snowing or raining, the tongue funnels the wet right in!

These boots are the perfect hiking companion. I broke them in on a 7.5 mile hike with 1900 ft elevation gain. The traction was perfect, downhill was slightly uncomfortable as my toes slid around (but this trail was a VERY steep descent, & a less steep grade probably wouldn't be felt much at all). After purchasing wool hiking socks, the shoes performed perfectly. I wore these in Yosemite on the mist trail and was able to test out the waterproof fabrics. My feet stayed completely dry through each puddle. The shoes are also very warm (due to the fabrics used in waterproofing). I've worn these in warm weather conditions as well, & my feet are hot, but the protection against rocks/roots outweighs the warm feet. The toes are also outfitted with extra protection (which is very helpful if you hike on the less maintained trails as your feet may easily slip between rocks and crush your toes). I've worn these on dirt, slick mud, granite cliffs, & rocky trails, & the shoes have not slipped & have cushioned every step. Overall, I'm very impressed.

I just love these boots! They fit well, are a little on the wide side, but my feet are too. A wide shoe is sometimes too wide for me. But these regular sized boots are perfect! The color with lighter accent colors is striking, with good tread as well. . Great to walk in, can wear all day, and still comfortable at the end of the day.

I’ve been wearing these hiking boots for the past few months on trails and around town, and they were very comfortable from the start. The break-in period was non-existent (they were ready to wear right out of the box), and they provide excellent support for long walks. The grip is solid on both dry and wet terrain, and the boots feel durable enough to handle regular use. The waterproofing is excellent and my feet stayed completely dry, even when crossing a river! The boots are lightweight enough to wear for all day wear, but for longer hikes they may become a bit heavy feeling. They are true to size and width and have proven to be a great choice among the many options there are for hiking boots.

Scarpe davvero comode ed impermeabili. Utilizzate anche sulla neve, in Islanda, garantendomi sempre un piede asciutto e caldo. Adatte anche all’utilizzo di ramponcini.

Heerlijk zittende schoenen. Helaas gaat de zwarte kleur er zeer snel af op de neus. De veters zijn binnen een jaar stuk, helaas zijn deze niet los van Colombia te bestellen en moest ik op zoek naar andere. Verder vind ik ze perfect.

Für mich ein ganz toller Wanderschuh. Ich habe ihn bei einer 20km-Tour im Schnee das erste mal getragen. Beim klettern und Eis hatte ich einen sehr guten halt. Meine Füße sind dabei trocken und warm geblieben. Obwohl der Schuh sehr stabil ist, ist er sehr bequem zu tragen und nicht schwer am Fuß. Vor allem vom Fußbett her. Ich habe keine Blasen von der Wanderung bekommen. Lediglich eine Druckstelle an einem Knöchel, da dieser etwas ausgeprägter ist als der Andere. Das ist allerdings kein Hindernis, da der Schuh mittels der oberen Hakenschnürung super von der weite her einstellen lässt. Ebenso lassen sie sich leicht reinigen. Ich finde die Schuhe von der Größe sehr passgenau. Kann sie sehr weiterempfehlen.

Excelente bota. Utilizei em longas caminhadas. Completamente impermeável . Importante "amaciar" antes.
