Do you lose air in tyre when taking a reading

I've found it more fiddly to get a good seal than my previous mechanical gauges, so more air can escape at first.

Does it take 3 batteries or 4? Says both on the advert...

Hello customer, the batteries included are: LR44*3 and CR2032*1.

Does put air in the tyres

No. It simply tells you the pressure of air left in the tyre.

Does it come with instructions and how do you replace the batteries?

It does come with full easy to follow instructions, which also explain how to change the batteries. I'm sorry I can't tell you how offhand, but I know it was easy when I bought it a year ago. I was so pleased with mine, I also bought both my sons one each. I hope I have been of some help.
