Love it!
I really love the pan. Made steaks in it so far and the crust was perfect. If you clean and dry it right, there will be no rust. Remember to never use soap, only hot water. Afterwards put it on the stove for a few minutes with high heat to dry it completely. Then add a thin layer of oil and it's good to store. If you do that every time, you will have this pan for your lifetime and longer.

Hard to clean
The item is very sturdy and good for cooking, however it is hard to get food residue off as you are not supposed to use detergent. Would be good if the supplier could provide some cleaning tips.

Perfect, sturdy proper cast iron pan
Exactly what we were looking for. We love the lines to give a chargrilled look to steak, chicken, halloumi etc. A good tip is to use a cast iron plate with handle to press into the top side - works a treat to get a perfectly chargrillled, medium-rare steak!

Easier to monitor and control than peering under a grill
Its a great cheat grill. Simple to baste while cooking to prevent drying out. Prefer it to using the grill.
