The scooter feels solid and well-made. It was super easy to set up out of the box, and the folding design makes it really convenient to store in our entryway. It looks sleek. I love the clean, minimal look with the matte black finish. One charge gives me enough distance for a couple of rides, and the charger is simple to use. I like that it has both mechanical and electronic brakes, and the lights work well for evening rides. I haven’t played around with the app much yet, but it’s nice knowing I can lock it or adjust settings when I need to. Overall, I’m super happy with this scooter. It’s affordable, stylish, and makes everyday rides so much more fun. I’m already looking forward to our next scooter date!

The scooter purchased started making noises after the 30 day return/replace period. I have had this scooter for just a few months and is still under manufacture warranty. So the bearing it seems are defective, and the company wants the customer to to be a repair technician and replace the parts. However, one of the screws is over tightened and will not loosen. My husband had tried multiple times per the company to loosen the screw. He has even called multiple scooter repair companies in the area who will only touch the scooter for the minimum “look at” fee which is $120! I have repeatedly asked for a Refund and Return Label, a Replacement and Return Label, or a pre authorization at a local repair shop to fix the scooter. The company has decided to continue to give me the run around, tell me to take it to a repair shop, have another person help me (since I am a frail woman without a husband to help). I will note, I did pay for the extra warranty however that does not kick in until after six months! And I have no idea what kind of hassle that will be! DO BOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY UPDATE: The company finally decided to replace the scooter, if I first return the defective scooter. However, they wanted me to pay for a return box ($27.24 from UPS), which I was not going to do. After multiple messages and putting my foot down, the company finally decided to send me a return box. It has been 4 days since I took the scooter to FedEx and still do not have confirmation of a replacement being shipped. Another note about the customer service: Since they are not US based, you cannot reach them by phone, direct messages take forever for a response, if you send a message on a Friday, you have to send another message on Monday since they do not read messages they receive over the weekend.

I picked up the MAXSHOT electric scooter because I wanted something lightweight and easy to carry, and it definitely delivers on that. It folds up in just a couple of seconds and barely takes up any space, which is perfect for commuting on the train and storing under my desk at work. The portability is honestly the biggest selling point—super convenient and not a hassle to bring along. As for quality, I was pleasantly surprised. Even though it’s small and light, it doesn’t feel cheap at all. The frame feels sturdy, the ride is smooth, and the brakes respond well. It’s great for quick trips around the neighborhood or getting across campus. The battery life is decent for a scooter this size, and overall it feels like a well-made product for everyday short-distance use. The only downside is the weight limit. This scooter is definitely meant for smaller riders. If you’re over 150 pounds, it’s probably not going to be comfortable or stable enough. I’m within the limit, so it works fine for me, but I can see how it wouldn’t be ideal for someone bigger. It’s a great little scooter for light riders, but larger folks will want something more robust.

I always wanted to buy an electric scooter, but I don’t know which one to get. Now that I have made my choice of which one to buy here is my thoughts on this electric scooter. The quality of this scooter is very durable. It’s very heavy and the metal bar that is connected to the handle bar is very strong. For the part where you stand on, it’s big enough for my son and I to ride together. My son and I combined are about 240 pounds or so and there is no problem for us to ride together. We got to the top speed of 11 to 12 mph together on this electric scooter. I don’t want to go too fast because there was two of us riding. When I was riding by myself, I got the scooter up to 19 mph. So this scooter is very powerful when your riding by yourself. The battery life on this scooter is very good. With one charge we can use this scooter for a few days. We used about 15 to 30 minutes each time. There is not much noise level for this scooter. The one time when you hear the noise is when you are riding it, but when it’s parked there is no noise. The motor is not very loud. I use this scooter to pickup my son from school and it’s very convenient now that I don’t need to wait in my car at the pickup line. I think it’s well worth the money.
