Small But Mighty
The Vosteed Mini Acorn is proof that great things come in small packages—like a shot of good whiskey or a well-placed comeback. With a 2.46” Sandvik 14C28N blade, this little guy is razor-sharp, durable, and ready to take on all your daily cutting needs—whether that’s opening boxes, slicing fruit, or asserting dominance over zip ties. The G10 handle is lightweight, grippy, and shaped just right—like it was custom-made for your hand, but without the custom price tag. It’s tough, ergonomic, and gives you that confident, “Yeah, I carry a knife” feeling. Now, let’s talk about deployment—because that’s where this thing really shines. The action is smoother than your best excuse for buying another knife, and it flips open effortlessly. The liner lock is solid, snapping into place with authority—kind of like when you finally fix something on the first try. At just under 6” overall, it’s small enough to disappear in your pocket but capable enough to handle real work. Whether you’re a knife nut or just need a reliable EDC, the Mini Acorn delivers. Final Verdict: 10/10, would flip open repeatedly just because it feels awesome. Tiny but tough—just like a good espresso shot.

Great smaller folder
The Mini Acorn is good front flipper. Both ways to deploy it works well. Action is smooth. Locks up well. Nice jimping on top of the blade. It's wasn't the sharpest when I unboxed it but a couple swipes on the leather took care of that. Budget friendly smaller folder. Fit and finish on the Mini Acorn is very nice. Vosteed did a great job on this one. I really like their G-10 scales. Good finger choil. Liner lock has jimping that's easy accessible for closing the blade. I found the Mini Acorn easy to front flip. I would definitely buy it again.

Excellent little knife; near perfect fit and finish!
For starters, I’ve been collecting and using pocket knives for well over 50 years. I say that not to brag but simply to let you know that I KNOW KNIVES. Given a couple reviews I’ve read, there may be quality control issues associated with this Mini Acorn Pocket Knife, but I can only evaluate my knife, and my knife—for a mid-range priced one—ticks all the right boxes, except one, as I’ll explain at the end. Here are the definite positives, keeping in mind this is a $50 knife and not a top-quality knife ($100 and over): — the fit and finish of this Mini Acorn is almost perfect; the blade closes dead center, all screws are nice and tight, the belt clip is very rigid and stiff—just as it should be to keep the knife secure; and the edges have been mercifully chamfered so no sharp edges will cut you, and so it feels tremendously comfy in the hand; without those chamfers, it would be a much cheaper and uncomfortable knife to hold; — when the blade is open, the liner lock keeps the blade solidly in place, no accidental closings, which can be dangerous; the liner lock is one of the most tried and true lock mechanisms; — when the blade is shut, the detente (a tiny steel ball that keeps the blade closed) works flawlessly; it prevents the blade from opening accidentally, but still allows the blade to be flicked or just pulled open with no problem; as tiny as it is, the detente is one of the most critical components on the knife (many cheap knives do not have detentes); — the blade is made of Sandvik 14C28N, a very fine Swedish mid-range stainless steel; with it, your blade will have extreme corrosion resistance, amazing toughness, and great edge retention; it will also give you razor-sharp edges fairly easily; — the blade can be opened and closed one-handed (don’t despair if you can’t do it at first; just practice; it CAN be done); — this small, minimalist and ergonomic knife (which happens to be one of my favorites) conforms perfectly and comfortably to my hand; in fact, I can completely hide it in one hand if need be; — I’ve left my favorite feature for last: the Micarta handles (or “scales”); Micarta is such a pleasure to hold, b/c it has such a natural feel to it; and importantly, it’s not slick, but rather has a grippy feel for secure handling of the knife. In conclusion, this in fact IS a 5-star knife in all respects. But most unfortunately, I must deduct 1 star for one failure in fit and finish. I said it was “almost perfect,” and that’s for one reason, one inexcusable failure: the blade is dull. Dull as can be. I do NOT recommend this at all, but I can run my thumb across the blade’s edge WITH pressure and not even get a scratch. If it were sharp, it would have sliced my thumb to the bone. This is all most unfortunate, because with its Sandvik 14C28N steel, I was really looking forward to a “scary sharp” edge. But it was not to be. So do I recommend the Mini Acorn? Yes, absolutely. It’s an awesome little knife, one which I intend to carry a lot. Plus, as an added bonus, it’s legal just about everywhere. So buy it as a gift (it comes in a very attractive box and case), or especially as a stocking stuffer! I’m confident that whomever you buy it for will love it. So thanks so much for reading this long review, and I wish you the best of luck with all your shopping!

First Vosteed
This is my first Vosteed knife, and I am happy with it. Feels like a quality piece. Handle is sturdy and blade is sharp. It’s a nice pocket knife for the 5th jeans pocket.

Knife came pre-owned, box had been opened before and the blade was dirty.
The knife after cleaning and polishing the blade, will be used everyday work and should he just fine. But I'm a little disappointed, I didn't pay a "used" price, so why would I get a used product.
