The outdoor unit is equipped with independent call buttons for each apartment, while each unit comes with a 7-inch color LCD monitor for convenient viewing and two-way communication with visitors. The system is compatible with 12V electric locks and is easy to connect. There are 2 ways to open the door lock, using the RFID keyfobs or "unlock" button on the monitor. When someone presses the call button on the outdoor unit, the indoor display doorbell rings and shows the outdoor screen. You can clearly see the visitor and press the “Talk” button on the monitor to communicate. Press the “Unlock” button to grant access. Extension cables are not included in the package. You can use Cat5 or Cat6 network cables to extend the connection distance between the outdoor unit and the monitor, as well as between different monitors. The maximum transmission distance is up to 330 feet (100 meters).
