Review: Good, flexible router with good WiFi coverage - Mine has been working well for a few months now. The WiFi coverage is very good from the four antennas, it's reliable and doesn't seem to crash or need rebooting. The configuration interface is easy to use, VLAN support is really useful for keeping things like internet-connected cameras and so on off your private network where your data lives. Domain filtering allows the most annoying ads to be blocked at the router.

Mine has been working well for a few months now. The WiFi coverage is very good from the four antennas, it's reliable and doesn't seem to crash or need rebooting. The configuration interface is easy to use, VLAN support is really useful for keeping things like internet-connected cameras and so on off your private network where your data lives. The latest in a family of Asus xx8x routers we have had as our main home router. While having WiFi 7 is nice (for the future) the latest versions of asuswrt (especially with Merlin's magic sauce) and the phenomenal built in switch, mad this a must buy for us.
