Mine has been working well for a few months now. The WiFi coverage is very good from the four antennas, it's reliable and doesn't seem to crash or need rebooting. The configuration interface is easy to use, VLAN support is really useful for keeping things like internet-connected cameras and so on off your private network where your data lives. Domain filtering allows the most annoying ads to be blocked at the router.

Very capable router. I have been using this router with both ethernet connections and over wifi and the speed is incredible. We can get our full speed over 1Gbps on wifi as well as over ethernet. The router is easy to setup through the Asus app and has a suite with many features that can be handy to an average user or more professional. It is although quite a big router and takes up a fair amount of space.

The latest in a family of Asus xx8x routers we have had as our main home router. While having WiFi 7 is nice (for the future) the latest versions of asuswrt (especially with Merlin's magic sauce) and the phenomenal built in switch, mad this a must buy for us.

I never opened it to use it as I got a better deal from Currys. But I will say that this router is possibly the best that I've ever bought and I've had a few. It's got twice as many Ethernet ports as a normal router and was very easy to set up. Signal strength is excellent as is functionality and quality.

The perfect upgrade if you are thinking of upgrading from an ageing, but solid router that is the RT-AC88U. The faster internals and ports have increased any wired network throughput tenfold and is truly futureproof with the 10G WAN.

This router is completely incompatible with virgin media hub 5 right now with current firmware. You'll see constant drops of connectivity, it may be anywhere from a few seconds to over a minute. Terrible reliability for gaming. Customer service was also atrocious. Their support was rude and unresponsive. Was forced to refund through Amazon due to their terrible service. Overpriced bad product, get a TPLink instead.

Con cuatro puertos 2.5G y otros cuatro Gigabit, además de los 10G, puedes cablear toda tu casa (consolas, PC, NAS) con la máxima velocidad posible hoy en día. Hardware de Élite: El procesador Quad-Core a 2.6GHz y los 2GB de RAM hacen que el router ni se inmute aunque tenga decenas de dispositivos conectados, streaming 4K simultáneo y descargas pesadas en la Xbox. Software ASUSWRT Pro: Las opciones de segmentación de red (VLAN), el modo gaming dedicado y la seguridad AiProtection (sin suscripciones) son el estándar de oro en software para routers. Conclusión: El RT-BE88U es una inversión de futuro. Si tienes una conexión de fibra de alta velocidad y equipos que aprovechen el 10G o el WiFi 7, no hay nada mejor. Es potente, estéticamente agresivo y con una estabilidad de roca.

Super ! Je peux contrôler toute la maison avec ce routeur, y compris les temps de connexion de mes enfants et bloqué internet sur les pc des enfants et leurs téléphones à l'horaire voulu afin de les aider à dormir. ( pas de triche, je gère tout ). En jeux en réseaux j'ai une latence en dessous de 12ms sur WOW c'est incroyable. Je n'ai même pas eu besoin de chercher manuellement mon imprimante pour imprimé, c'est dire que c'est la galère les imprimantes ça marche jamais on s'arrache les cheveux à configuré. Là j'ai rien fais ça fonctionne H24 depuis tous les PC. Par contre la wifi 6 c'est bien uniquement dans la même pièce, sauf si vos mur sont en BA13. Dans mes pièces adjacente le wifi 6 c'est -60% ( murs en brique ), au dessus et en dessous ça passe très bien ( dalle machefer ). Wifi 7 Pas encore testé. Wifi 5 ca porte bien dans toute la maison ( grande maison ).
