Perfect fit for Samsung T7 SSDs

Handy little case.

I have a Samsung T7 Shield External Hard Drive and although it already has a protective outer layer I figured it would not hurt to have even more security.This particular hard case has a hardened and molded insert that is shaped perfectly to fit either a standard T7 or a T7 Shield. The fit is snug and at least for the T7 shield it is snug enough to hold the hard drive in place without it falling out. It is lined with a super soft furry material to prevent any type of scuffing or scratching.The molded liner can be pulled out of the hard case but not sure why anyone would do that .The hard case itself provides that extra level of comfort if you don't like just dropping your T7 into your bag bare. The single zipper on it works well and isn't difficult to open or close. It comes with a small leash with a clasp on the end that can be attached. The hard case has a latch point so if you don't want to use the included leash you can simply attach your own carabiner to it.Like I said, no frills but does the job it was meant to do perfectly at a bargain basement price of just under $5.Thumbs up!

Got this recently for my t9 ssd. The case seems ok. However the space to put in the wires is extremely tight, and the space to put the drive in isn't deep/wide enough. The cables end up sandwhiching against the drive. The rims along the edge probably prevent it from sandwhiching too much but I wouldn't want to get this again.

Well, normally my luck with receiving inexpensive cases or products in general like this have been good, especially when I could see that it was an "Amazon pick" and had relatively good reviews. But I guess you can't win all of them, and such was the case with this case I received today. The zipper tab was broken and was just hanging down from one half of the zipper itself, and the right side of the zipper wasn't stitched all the way down to the case, likely contributing to this issue. As I said, 90%+ of the time I can expect even these inexpensive made overseas products to arrive without any issues, but unfortunately not this one, this time. So sending this one back & hoping that the replacement I receive in a couple days is constructed with a bit better attention to detail, guess we'll see. Ill update with a new review once I receive it.
