OK, something of an acquired taste
An interesting alternative to peanut butter, doesn't taste quite as nice but it's not too bad, takes a bit of getting used to. They've had to offset the bitter element of the taste by using artificial sweeteners, in this case erythritol. It's cheeky of them to call it a "natural" sweetener as, although it's a naturally occurring compound, it is artificially synthesised in food use from corn. I'm not a fan of these polyol sweeteners as they do have a tendency to give me an upset stomach if I consume more than a certain amount (I'm not alone in this, they are well known for having such effects but I am probably more sensitive to them than most people). I haven't experienced any ill effects so far from this product, so the quantities used here might be not large enough to cause me problems. Comes in cardboard only packaging, nice that the jars are glass rather than plastic, but the lids are plastic.

Ex-seed-ingly good
Loving this spread. Can’t wait to try more flavours. So many ways to enjoy. Yum. Love the texture and good value for 2 jars.

Oily, strange taste, and expensive
As a big fan of peanut butter I was eager and excited to try this sunflower butter. I had it on some toast this afternoon and I think... it isn't for me. It's kind of a weird taste for me. Of course this is all subjective but I wouldn't get more. There is a very weird after taste here and just a weird background not that is odd for me. My other issue is that it's very oily. Even when it's mixed up with a spoon it is still very oily and I feel like I am getting a mouthful of oil in each bite. It's also quite runny for a nut butter. I don't like the taste or the texture I am afraid. My list issue is that it's really expensive. This is like maybe 5 times more expensive than a standard jar of peanut butter. This just isn't for me, I'm afraid. I won't eat any more of it. I don't like it.

Not as 'natural' as the front label would suggest
Says it is a natural product with no added sugar but actually contains emulsifiers and artificial sweeteners. Beware to read the detailed ingredients and not be fooled by the front label. A bit disappointed as it took a month to arrive and then was not as expected and not eligible for return.

great taste with toast
This product comes in a cardboard box. Once opened, you’ll see two jars of sunflower seed butter. As of the time we reviewed it, it is priced at £9.99. I think this is a good value as you only need a small amount on your toast or in your sandwich.I first tried this product out of the jar, and it wasn't amazing, but I made a slice of toast to try this with and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. It’s difficult to explain, but it has a similar consistency to peanut butter but a different taste. It doesn’t have a strong taste, but that is a good thing, as butters from nuts can often be too strong. The texture is nice, and so is the taste.I'd recommend this product.

Tasty and nut free
Smooth texture with a rich roasted sunflower seed flavour. Works really well as a tahini replacement. No sugar, soy or palm oil, and it's high in protein with a solid mix of vitamins like E and magnesium. Not overly sweet, just clean and balanced., so it a great option if you're avoiding nuts or just want something more nutrient dense than typical spreads.

Really Nice & Thoroughly Recommended
Have to very fully recommend this as is one for the bets nut-free alternatives to peanut butter I have tried - somehow has a really lovely nitty taste that tastes like a gourmet high quality peanut butter with a lovely depth to it with a slight aftertaste from the seeds. Really nice and absolutely lovely spready on hot toast - love it! Very nice healthy spread we will definitely be getting again and have saved to our Amazon shopping list as love it and good value for a double pack of a healthy quality spread like this.
