Great in our out side lamp

Bright white light with great ligth difusion
Longevity confirmation should take years, so can't include that in the review. At last I have a powerful bright light that defuse like the old incandescent ones, it has to be used in a reasonably large room otherwise it could be too powerful. It is definitely a white light which in my opinion is better than yellowish ones. I could compare it to quality halogen for a fraction of the energy consumption. Note that even with a dimmer set to full and untouched, it is likely to flicker.

Bright and well made
Used in ceiling light where I find the room too dark. This bulb is bright and looks nicer in use than expected. It works fine on standard light fitting. Have ordered another for a different room
