Unfortunately, although it tightened all the way down, clamping onto both the top and bottom part of the knob, I was able to pull it off with very little force. I was thrilled when I found this option. It works beautifully! As you can see in the pictures, it doesn’t sit straight, but only because of the adjustable lock that is uncommon in most realtors locks. Aside from that (it doesn’t bother me as it doesn’t take away any from doing what it’s supposed to do). I’m very happy with my purchase. It’s perfect for when either myself or my husband forgets our keys and the other isn’t home or when we have guests that arrive and no one is home to let them in. Should fit any door as long as it is 1&3/4" or less thick/wide. **Q: Why does it not work with electronic lockbox?** A: I'm not certain, but I suspect it is because the heavy plastic-clad shackle on an electronic lockbox is much thicker than the thin metal shackles on most mechanical models.
